Default Strange shadow on mesh/texture
I've been making windows, and one part of my frame is markedly darker than everything else. The weird shadow is clearly restricted to a few distinct sections of the mesh - the darkness ends on the mapping seam. I don't think the culprit can be the textures, though, because the frame is mapped rather economically: the red-dotted sections all share the same texture area, as do the blue-dotted areas and the yellow-dotted ones:

If the problem was darker texture areas, then all of the red, blue and yellow dotted areas should be too dark. So I guess the problem must be the mesh... but I have no idea what could be wrong with it. :/ All half-baked suggestions welcome.

it looks like a baking issue, have you tried with a one color ''grey'' texture?
At first i thought the shadow was partly covering the frame but that doesn't seem so.
