This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Cannot find Sims 2 Body Shop using Sims 2 Ultimate Collection
I just downloaded the new TS2 Ultimate Collection from Origin. The game runs fine and I can add custom content, but I can't find a TS2 Body Shop at all! I can't contact EA and ask (I've been trying since 11 am EST, its now 4:00 EST and still got nothing) so maybe I'll get luck here.

There's also no "Projects" folder in the game files, which I found strange since my regular Sims 2 Double Deluxe had it after installing and turning on the game...

Body shop did install but it did not give you a desktop short cut to it, it is here C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\CSBin
Right click on it and send it to desktop (create shortcut).

Pretty sure the Project folder will be made when you make a project in Bodyshop, so if it's not there, make a simple recolor project and the folder should turn up.

Did you first try to right click then "Open With"? that seemed to find body shop for me straight away because it recognized they were package files.
