This was great, but it needs to be updated to patch 1.67 .
Also, when I download the modder and click on the exe file, it gives me the "has stopped working" error.

Extract the entire zip file to a new folder then run the exe from that folder. That's what I did. Hope that helps.

Should this go into the Override folder or just the package folder?

i didn't get a chance to use this mod because it was conflicting with something. I'm not sure what it is but I know all my sism wouldn't sit down to watch tv and my teen sims kept trying to do their homework on the table but it kept deleting itself and the teens kept trying but it wouldn't let them do it. I just took out the mod to see if it works and now the teens can do their homework. not sure what was going on. I wish I could have used this mod because it is annoying to have a memory of my sim going to the grocery store.

I recently bought The Sims 3 on Steam, and along with NRAAS, I decided to get this mod in order to tame Memories based on what I read. Thanks!

Have used this mod for quite a while and this is a great mod. The default memories is a bit annoying as it set all sims action as a memories. Now, I'm using the only important memories and it now work like it should.

Thanks it works perfectly on patch 1.67! I do have one question though, as I've been playing through my game, I realised that I want to edit the celebrity related memories since almost everyone in my town has different levels of celebrity stars, and it's getting annoying that everytime my sim kisses/woohoos with his girlfriend, he gets a "Kissed/woohooed celebrity" memory lol. Will it break my save file if I delete the old settings/package file and replace it with a new custom memories version of the memories system? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm confused, there's already an option to turn off memories... or does this only allow specific memories?

Yeah, it doesn't disable them completely like the in-game option does, it only prompts and saves the most important ones instead of bombarding you with memories such as: "woo, you've repaired your first toilet! what a day!"
