_____________

I took a break from CC 'purging' and played the Landgraab (3) household.

The quads have a very social lifestyle, with their parents working nights they're able to throw parties and have friends over pretty frequently. Kate and Marcus don't really care, as long as their grades are up and the guys make basketball their number one priority. After all, practice makes perfect! During the week they're all prety busy with school and extracurricular activities anyway.

Madeline has been working on her cooking skills by cooking everything for the parties they've been throwing. She'll be starting culinary school the next session.

Kenneth and Logan have been working on their body and logic skills in hopes to get a scholarship for college. Logan has recently gone steady with Kessi Davis but he doesn't seem to roll a lot of wants for her so who knows how much he really likes her. Hopefully, Kessi understands that basketball will always be his number one priority.

Kenneth still refuses to really acknowledge his son with Evelyn Harris. I don't even think he's formally met him yet. He's just a young dumb teen with other things on his mind, I can't blame him. At least his parents are paying for the child support, in exchange that he focuses on school to go to college and plays basketball.

In other household news:

I loaded into the Storm (2) household and after taking stock of things and making sure various hack items were around (like the lot debugger) I looked at everyone's wants.

Cecilia and Clark want another baby, and Clark also wants a promotion in his career. Evonne apparently feels excessively left out that she's the only Storm sibling who isn't married with children, and rolled up the want to marry a rich sim. In all the sims in her chemistry panel there are only two who aren't romantically linked to someone else, and she managed to find a third (a uni professor) using the crystal ball.

So, LI#1, Leeroy Young: $. LI#2, Prof. Philip Welch: $$. However, Carlos Potter refused to answer Evonne's question and she had to leave for work before the relationship could be brought high enough for her to ask successfully.

Emily grew to toddler, being an average motivation sim and also the first of the Storm grandchildren to not have the narrow jaw -- probably helped by the fact that Cecilia herself doesn't have too narrow a jaw.

Evonne tried again to ask Carlos how much money he had and he shot her down; that combined with ACR wanting Evonne and Leeroy to woohoo probably solidifies who she'll end up with. I had her move Leeroy in (as, being a broke college student, we know he didn't have that much money). He brought in a little over $1k and a furious relationship with Prof. Welch. Leeroy and Evonne got married pretty quick after.

Leeroy's stats: Family sim, average motivation, LTW: 6 grandkids.

So, when a sim tries for a baby and they get hit by risky woohoo, does that count as a wanted baby? It most certainly does to me, so Evonne and Leeroy are expecting their first child.

Cecilia also finally got pregnant after trying multiple times over the past couple of days, so there's going to be at least two new babies born into the household soon. Clark also got a promotion to backup Dancer (Dance level 2) and managed to take advantage of a later start time to head back to work in the hopes of another promotion which he managed.

Leeroy found a job in Culiary as a Host (level 4) and got promoted to Waiter after his first day of work.

Evonne had a girl, Tanya, with her father's hair & eye colour and a tanned skintone. About an hour later Cecilia had her second child, Eric, with his father's hair & eye colour. Cecilia got pregnant again a few hours later and almost had a miscarriage.

Eric grew into a high motivation toddler (and looks very cute). Tanya grew into an average motivation toddler.

Both Evonne and Leeroy gor promotions, to Magazine Editor (Journalism level 9) and Prep Cook (Culinary level 6) respectively.

I waited a few hours past the normal end of the rotation for Cecilia to have her third baby -- a boy, named Robin with the same hair/eye combo as big sis Emily (black hair & their grandfather's brown eyes). Given respective spouse choices I'm expecting 90% of the Storm grandchildren to have black hair.

--

The Marshalls (5) household started off as a quiet one with just Violet in it. She became an adult on the Tuesday of the rotation and kept working towards reaching her LTW of topping the Music career. On the Thursday, after work, she decided to woohoo with some of her (unattached to other sims) loves...and got hit by risky woohoo. Now, I know which of her three lovers impregnated her but it remains to be seen if the baby inherits anything obvious from their father.

The Tinkers had a baby boy just as the season changed to spring; Wanda went into labour just as I was getting ready to move to another household. The birth brought her mood up to platinum. Stephen's mood had been improved the night before by writing a best-seller and maxing film& literature enthusiasm, and Melody filled a want to learn a life skill. Their business is progressing slowly, but they have a reasonable stock of toys so should be fine for the spring. I have them only selling crafted toys and am using a mod so they can sell their books, too.

I then added the Jacquet family to my rotations. Since Denise seems very controlling of the family, and keeps cleaning up after her son, I gave her a family secondary. I decided to use her controlling nature to guide how I play the house - her wishes for her son will take precedence for now. I gave him a family secondary too, but I plan to change it to pleasure after Denise dies - he is family in that he follows his mother's wants, but I see him as also wanting freedom from her. Their relationship improved steadily over the winter, though. Gilbert had fallen in love with a townie who wanted to marry him. Since Denise also wanted him married, Gilbert went along with marriage. It turns out that his wife, Barb, was at level 9 in the business career, and is a knowledge sim. I gave her a fortune secondary and rerolled her LTW (it had been chief of staff, and she now wants to own 5 businesses). She can't cook, though most of her other skills are high (needed more 1 charisma and creativity for promotion, though). Anyway, Denise wanted money and grandchildren, so Barb got pregnant and Denise focused on baking things to sell. Both Denise and Gilbert have improved their cooking skills a lot (use of hobby lot helped), and the bakery got up to level 2. Barb bought Mercantile Mart, and bulldozed most of it to make room for a large skating rink. There is a warming house with bathrooms, benches, vending machines and a couple of arcade games (she had them in her inventory when she moved in), and I'll add basketball in the summer. While running it, she got a networking promise of promotion when she returned to work after maternity leave. Denise's grandson, Claude, was born the next morning and Barb recovered so quickly she was able to catch her carpool an hour later - and she came home at the top of the business career. Denise spent the last day of winter playing with her grandson and giving financial counselling - Gilbert mostly prepared food for future sale.

I've started the university rotations. I've currently got one occupied dorm, the fraternity and the sorority, and I will play three semesters in each before starting the spring rotation in the rest of my town. The dorm started with Gavin Newson, Ginger's boyfriend Laurie, Erik Swain from the student bin, and two townies/downtownies I'd sent to university. One, Mariona, had become close friends to a couple of the students in the sorority, and the other is the Tricou teen Orion, named Maik in my 'hood. I added Malcolm Landgraab IV's girlfriend Hawise as well - she had been a dormie and knows most of my town's founders. I played the dorm for one semester - Hawise had a couple of dates with Malcolm, fell in love, and they both rolled wants to get engaged. I'm using college adjuster to shorten Hawise's semesters, as I'd like her to graduate in 2 seasons of my regular 'hood instead of 3. Gavin and Mariona want to do well at university so are actually rolling wants to study and write papers; they even have the skills they need for now. Laurie just wants to make friends, but has skills so is easy to handle. Erik also wants to make friends but needs skills to pass and isn't rolling wants to get them. Maik's wants and skills are worse - pleasure sims and university don't really go together and he only got a single needed skill point because he rolled a fear of academic probation. Maik and Erik became even less interested (if possible) in passing university when they realized they were attracted to each other. Instead of autonomous skilling, there is now autonomous ACR flirts between them. ACR also lead Mariona to become interested in a dormie; I added him to the household and used college adjuster to send him to exams with the rest of the group.

The fraternity had seen a fair number of graduates last rotation, so was down to David Ottomas, one other senior, and two freshmen. There are a few pledges, though, including Erik Swain. The first day of the semester was spent building relationships with potential pledges and having pledges spend time at the house. Two pledges moved in - Erik and a dormie that is in relationship with one of the sorority sisters. Erik asked the other men from the dorm to pledge, but aside from Maik I don't know if I'll move the others in. Despite dates and a party, the fraternity members are doing better academically than the dorm (adding Maik may change that...). Their semester exams aren't for a few more hours, though. After their exams I'll play a semester with the sorority and then rotate through the university again until everyone has done 3 semesters.

Today I tried to murder my first Sim ever, but it didn't work. I tried to kill Consort Capp by having him swim in an outdoor pool for two or three hours in the winter. I removed the ladders, thinking he would drown if he didn't freeze, but he kept alternately swimming & floating. Didn't even seem to get cold. He lives in a senior home with the Montys & the Oldies. He & Isabella had been fighting & I wanted to create a vacancy in the home so I could move someone else in. But Consort didn't die, so I finally put the ladder back on the edge of the pool. He climbed out & started hollering at Isabella again!

The last story I was working on (before getting distracted creating a Cryptology College. I love building as much as story creating!) was the Vilan family. It all started with Shay Vilan. While in college he met and was comically compatible with an in game sim named Robin. They dated throughout college and married soon after graduating. Shay appropriately had the career and goals of a villain (in case you haven't gotten the pun in his name: Shay Vilan = Shady Villain corny I know, that's what makes it so fun!) and Robin ironically wanted to be a top lawyer with the goal of earning $100,000. A good career for an accomplice in crime, who's gonna get all those cases thrown out? They even boosted their funds running a car lot. (Lemons anyone?) they even bought a Siamese named Henchman and a black cat name Isis. Henchman went into service (access to other houses) and Isis went into security (to be able to bypass security of course!)
Once both reached their goals, acquired an awesome mansion, gained permanent platinum mood, and made earning money so easy that they sold the car lot they turned their attention to expanding their little syndicate. First came Kat oddly enough I decided to let the game play instead of forcing twins even though I wanted them to have more than one child. The joke was on me because after having Kat Robin gave birth to twins! A boy (Crim) and a girl (Minal)! Thank goodness there was plenty of funds to hire a nanny! They got the kids into private school and the story is waiting to be continued. Depending on their life goals I'm thinking of getting one of the children to buck the family business and go down the path of good. (I may need to look and see if I can find a superhero career in MTS for them to follow).

Simpull, the top of the Law Enforcement career is Captain Hero, so you shouldn't need a mod.

I'm still recovering from the death of Vidcund in the GS Uberhood. On more cheerful notes, Mikki Dosser has had her baby, Michael, and she, her best friend Gaia Wrightley, and babydaddy Charlie Curious are all pretty delighted with him. She caught Gaia flirting with Jamin Rai and is currently angry at both of them, but that won't last and anyway Jamin is engaged to Virginia Beech, much to the delight of her parents, who are busy planning the wedding party.

Dixie Land has a little problem: neither she nor boyfriend Mickey Dosser even thought about birth control. Mickey is not interested in parenting. (I never had a date stop rolling romantic wants so fast as he did when he saw she was pregnant!) Worse, from Mickey's perspective, he never worries about birth control and another girlfriend, Jessie Pilferson, is also pregnant! But Jessie and Dixie are good friends. (If Mickey were interested in being involved, he could've set up a happy little household with two ladies who are content with an open relationship. He's not that smart. As it is, my non-custodial sim parents pay $1000 per kid per week.) Dixie and Jessie figure they'll move into a rental together and share childcare and all. And neither one is at all worried about being a single mom: I guess because they'll be co-parenting. Dixie's going into architecture and Jessie will be . . . carefully avoiding Dixie's dad's official notice as she works as an escort to get her twenty loves LTW. Should be easy to make their schedules work together!

At the Travelers, Tina was delighted with her new puppy, Didi. Puppies are much nicer than baby brothers, even if her folks won't let her bring him inside. The nanny took good care of the baby, while Trent and Trisha got the store up to level eight, and rolled all sorts of interactive wants for each other. They would like to know who came up with this misconception that autumn is for skilling? Clearly, when it starts getting cold, a sensible sim wants to snuggle up with their sweetie!

At the Beeches, when I checked memories, Daytona and Junior had kissed! I have no idea where or when, but in the background of some party or at a community lot. Hamilton got promoted to Judge on the scrabble chance card, which is just silly. Fortunately Daytona pulled off a well earned promotion to Senator, or they would have been at the same level. Sandy got promoted in Journalism, reaching Sports Columnist. Rocky gestated, Orlando (Sandy and Rhett) learned to walk, Torrence messed his diaper for the nanny. I got the two-day warnings and a birthday pop-up, checked Daytona's lifespan, and she's only got two days left. I thought she had longer than Skye! Here's hoping Rocky has a girl to name after Grandma!

The megahood is just as dramatic as usual, and even though I just barely started playing again there has already been new craziness. Newly married Justin and Angela Cleveland both found positions in the military track to follow their LTWs, which happen to be the same. This was a bit of a shock to Justin's mother (now Marissa Goth) and his uncle Geoff, and Angela's mother Mary-Sue (who is now married to Geoff). They all expected the couple to settle down into "respectable" jobs in business, law, or politics. I always had a hard time reconciling Angela's LTW especially with her behavior, since military didn't really seem to fit her image as a social climber. But then I remembered how as a teen she liked to date the guys that no one would expect (Dustin Broke, Gavin Newson). Now that she's settled down with Justin, I guess she's shifted the tiny bit of rebellion into her work. As for Justin, he has a healthy admiration for his father's work as a police officer, and he respects his dad (who divorced Marissa and ran away to get married to the much younger Castor Nova) much more than his mom. In the end, in spite of Marissa, Mary-Sue, and Geoff's hopes, Angela and Justin probably won't be especially active in the upper crust society of the megahood. Then again, Angela is best friends with Juliette Capp, so once Angela and Justin are high up in the military one of their children might be able to marry one of the Capps. But even if that doesn't pan out, Marissa has a lot of other sons to use in whatever means necessary to raise her own status. She has toddler twins, Walter and Welles, who she gave birth to shortly after the divorce from Jason, and a baby son, Kerrick, with Mortimer. Marissa is ruthless enough to marry them off to whoever she needs to, and once Mortimer dies Marissa may use her influence to try to push Kerrick as the Goth heir over Alexander.

Over at the Lothario residence, Nina gave birth to a son, Julian, who is actually Geoff's illegitimate child. Nina is a savvy woman, so she got 15,000 simoleons from Geoff in return for promising to marry Don and raise Julian as their child so no one will know the truth. Don is happy to go along with the deal to get hold of the money. Besides, he's recently developed a bit of a family streak, and raising a kid doesn't seem like the worst thing in the world.

One of my favorite things that happened was recently widowed Jane Stacks meeting Vidcund Curious. I've been hoping he would meet someone he actually likes for ages, but he's persisted in being rude to nearly everybody and pining away for evil Circe Beaker (who is too busy breaking up Gilbert and Florence Jacquet's marriage to pay any attention to him). To my surprise, Vidcund instantly took a liking to her! I think those two could have a future together. Jane has desperately wanted to fall in love ever since her husband died. If they do decide to get together, it'll just be a question of where to move them since Vidcund is currently living in the overly crowded Curious house with his brothers, their wives and children, and Vidcund's own alien son.

Ryan Harris got fired from his new job right before having to head to college. So much for working while going to school!

I was surprised to see his dad, Ian Harris, dropping him off. I just figured since his parents have been divorced for so long he'd favor his mom since he lives with her. Ian remarried, had triplets plus another and just never had room for Ryan to stay over.

He is staying at the Plaza Dormitory and will be the only sim attending college this rotation so that'll be easy for me!
---------------------------------

The Landgraab (2) family live a pretty uneventful but peaceful life. Erin finally got promoted so I gave her a cop car. I'm giving all my sims a police car if they're in the law enforcement career.

I played them an extra day so I could see Aurora age into a teenager. She is a family/pleasure sim and her LTW is to follow in her mother's footsteps and be a captain hero. She looks just like Erin too, they practically look like sisters!

She rolled a want to flirt with her best friend's twin. Since she's so close to Peyton and Aaron she may be one of the 'unfortunate' sims to join her cult later on.

The taxes from this rotation have gone toward the funding of dwcc.. The Sweatshop, Quiet Mind cafe&coffee, Roots and Splatter have been erected on campus, all of which are tailored toward different hobbies or talent badges. The Roots will be sudent run salon, for example, while Splatter is an art studio and the Quiet Mind is a library/ sleepy little cafe.

The vampire Curious brothers spent the morning ensconced behind their UV-blocking windows, reading cookbooks with the televisions blaring a cooking show. Lazlo mastered cuisine and cooking in that order, leading to a rather bemused top chef finding himself utterly ignored by a pair of pale brothers with no interest in this stranger disturbing their research. The guy eventually left the membership card and split the scene.

Despite Vidcund's worries about sunshine, Lazlo wanted to go to work. He braved the sunshine to make it to the truck, as the carpool hadn't come...because he had gotten his first bump just after mastering cooking! He felt it was worth it however, as he wouldn't have gotten the science teacher position he did that day if he had made excuses to avoid the interview! Sirius also did slightly better at school, having apparently been granted the benefit of doubt about his tale of the cat destroying his homework. He was very bored by waking up from his post-school nap to find Vidcund at work and Lazlo in his coffin. Moody was sleeping, but at least Java was some company...and it was dark and cool, so he could go jump rope again! He was not expecting to have the football coach from school run up and give him a gym membership. He didn't really see what was such a big deal about this gym thing, but a swimming pool inside sounded interesting...

When he returned home from work, Vidcund was tired but in a good mood, having made a sizeable amount of money from a chance card on top of all his skill-building. He decided to ask Pascal over and tell him the family news -- if the Beakers came, so be it.

It was actually a good thing Vidcund had used the Energizer from work before calling. Nervous answered the phone, giving a complicated tale of how Pascal was dead and so was the maid, but it was okay because he was having Bianca Monty's babies and... "Subject!" Loki's voice shouted. The phone was hurriedly hung up, but not before Vidcund's sensitive ears had picked up the voice of Cassandra Goth. Seething, he called back, got Circe, and demanded to know what was going on. She claimed it was nothing important, he reminded her that it was a short flight across the valley should he decide to see for himself what was happening in the Beaker lab, and Circe laughed. "I'd love you to come flapping in here," she said, "but I'm afraid a fight between two full-grown vampire men is going to break some equipment. All right, let me get Demeter tucked in and I'll drag the crew over for your inspection; if you and Loki smash something, I want it to be your telescopes."

Sirius cordially welcomed the group as they confronted the maze of paths -- this was interesting, especially if there was going to be more shouting. Lazlo awoke, saw vampire visitors, and served a pack of bottled blood-substitute. Bianca was the first into the house, and took a bottle and a barstool without flinching -- Vidcund, remembering how she had tried to seduce him at her own trial, felt grudging admiration for her personal brand of madness. Cassandra, by contrast, refused to look at Lazlo, Sirius, Nervous, or the drinks. Sirius wondered if this was a party; there weren't often so many people at this house! (It was, to get them all to stay late into the night!)

End result: Remaining Curious brothers grieving and furious, Vidcund feeling that it was as much Pascal's fault as anyone else's. Sirius rather confused but more than willing to take funny Nervous's word that everything would soon be even better than it was before. (If he was having babies, would it they be green like Sirius? That would be fun!) Cassandra feeling like her reputation was an inch from totally being ruined, and not much comforted by Bianca pointing out they all had a lot resting on the ability of the Beakers, Curiouses, and each other to keep a secret. The Beakers pleased by all the fuss they'd stirred up and their growing senses of self-importance. And Bianca...suffice it to say that she looked longingly at the high chair before agreeing to toss a ball around with Sirius outside.

There was actually no physical fighting, probably because Loki and Vidcund did not want to upset Nervous and Lazlo further. Bianca cut an amusing figure tossing sticks and balls for Moody and Sirius in her rather theatrical attire, and found both child and dog fun to be around. Sirius was determined to make an actual friend outside his family, and bombarded Bianca with offers of different games, retellings of all the funny stories kids at school told about him -- he hoped they were true! -- and an explanation of how molecular gastronomy could make every meal a perfect one. When he offered to tell her about the stars, she was shocked that he knew not one constellation despite being able to give the name, magnitude, and detailed description of hundreds of stars. He'd never even heard of them, and that must be remedied at once...

"That is not a big dog!" Sirius objected when she pointed out the constellation containing his namesake. "It's just stars! How can it be a dog with just stars?" Apparently the boy had no experience of connect-the-dots either...not that explaining that helped, as one of the facts Sirius had memorized was the distances of all the stars in question. "Moody would be scary if he looked like that!" Sirius concluded, and that was that...and then he wanted to be swung around, and tell her a joke, and... He did convince her to make friends with him, despite their many differences!

Uni: Neptune Curious (Pascal's son), Grant Grunt (Tank's son), Bayleigh Grunt (Buck's daughter), and Venus Newson (Gallagher's daughter) all shared a dorm. Bayleigh specifically chose this dorm because Neptune was her boyfriend and Grant was her cousin. As for Venus, she didn't know any of them before and was quite nervous at first. The Newson name is synonymous with 'poor' in Strangetown and she was afraid they would look down on her. Besides, her goal in life was to be a ballet dancer and she didn't believe college was required for this. However, her aunt Georgia insisted she go as a backup plan and payed the tuition (Georgia is trying to lift the whole family out of poverty). To her surprise, everyone was really nice to her and soon she was best friends with Bayleigh and dating Grant.

At La Fiesta Tech, the secret society is group of students who have influential friends or family. Getting into the secret society guarantees that you will find a job in your field and be successful. They demand absolute loyalty above family, friends, and significant others. To that end, after you have been selected to join, you must woohoo a member of the society. You can choose the member, but it cannot be your significant other (if they happen to be a member). This rule is troublesome to sims who are dating seriously in college, but it is absolute - no exceptions.

Neptune was the first to join. He chose a girl by scoping the room. Since he was dating Bayleigh, he felt guilty and got out of bed right after and returned to the dorm. Bayleigh was the next to join. She did pretty much the same thing as Neptune. Venus was next. She chose the hottest guy there. Instead of rushing home, however, she stayed and enjoyed the party. ACR then led her and the hot guy back to bed and she got pregnant. Grant joined last. He scoped the room, didn't like anyone, and finally just chose a shy, pretty girl. Then he rushed back to the dorm to see Venus. Now, he is studying to be a doctor, so he quickly noticed that Venus was pregnant. He naturally assumed it was his. Venus knew better and was conflicted on which guy to choose. She had two bolts with hot guy and three with Grant, so she chose Grant. She did tell him that the baby probably wasn't his (although she didn't mention she woohoo'd hot guy more than once). Oddly enough, Grant didn't care. He loved the little boy (named Halon) and autonomously took care of him. So finally, he asked Venus to marry him and she said yes.

As for Neptune and Bayleigh, it took them awhile to get over the ordeal. They didn't exactly split up, but they didn't do much together either. After Neptune graduated, he realized he was going to be miserable not seeing Bayleigh every day. He rekindled the romance and stayed in the dorm until she graduated. They bought a small home together, got married, and are already pregnant. Neptune and Bayleigh Grunt Curious:

Unfortunately, what's happening in my game right now is a number of random deaths due to a bad flu bug (sims have died during my last three playing sessions) that has spread throughout a new neighborhood and sub-hood. There are currently only seven households...which sort of makes it a big deal to suddenly lose multiple sims.

So, I was playing a single sim household (she had a dog) and with only one day left in a seven day rotation, she collapsed after getting up from the piano. Her illness had been improving and I thought the worst was over, as she had been choosing to do other things around the home in between getting lots of rest, and her motives were finally staying in the green for most of the day. Apparently, I was wrong. RIP, Jamie.

The saddest thing was knowing her dog was going to go into the adoption pool...poor thing. I plan on having another sim or family adopt him at some point.

This is the first time (ever) in all my years of playing The Sims that I'm only playing sims that I've created and not the premades. Needless to say, their deaths feel a little more real to me...that's for sure.

Right now it's loading back up, but I've got teens heading for college right now, though some of Gen B are still babies - the SilverMoons are a large family! I have a few deaths coming up in the next few rotations (finally!) and some elderfying of Gen A. I may have found mates for two out of the three now in college, but as those two are just sophomores I'm going to wait and see how it plays out.

Port Shroudhaven is finally fleshed out and the fictional place for my new soap opera: Legacies of Dynasties! As the title implies it mostly revolves around a few core legacy style families and their extended family/friends. The added bonus is that all the core Gen 1 start as teens with various circumstances.

So I have Port Shroudhaven as the main hood. In actuality Port Shroudhaven serves as the boarding hood for all non heirs and npcs who become playable. Lawnaire Estates, a subhood serves as the main legacy family hood with their manors and some small vital community lots. But because most of the manor lots will be the 3x3 farmhouse lots it'll be awhile before each can afford one, so for now they're all living on 1x1 lots in Port Shroudhaven while getting the money and I decide which college each will go to because as i reread their backgroud descriptions I may choose for some to go elsewhere then Lawnaire prep.

Port Shroudhaven Academy is the college of choice for most, while Lawnaire Prep is the exclusive legacy heir college which will mostly consist of small homes as dorms that are self contained.

These are the sims I have so far for core families:
- Maddox Landgraab has been emancipated at last! Of course for the ambitious teen this means he's been cut off from his parent's money but he thinks in the long run it'll be worth it to build an empire that's his own and not inherited with dirty money. He did manage to finagle the cabin on mountain base lane from them for his living quarters. Which according to his old man will be the only thing he'll ever inherit for disgracefully turning his back on the family. So for now he's content with focusing on getting the grades to get back into private school, a steady part time job to learn the business ropes and meeting the right girls.

-Broli Raventhorpe is no stranger to bad circumstances in life. Parentless and homeless he's become a master of self reliance and attitude. Currently he's living on the old campgrounds at the far edge of town scraping by to get enough to get into a place by winter. He generally keeps to himself as he prefers his own company since he's been by himself for so long.

- Carly Thornhart the new "it" girl. Born to a politician and a supermodel she's the epitome of born on third base. She can pretty much go and do anything she wants which is why she's already living on her own. But don't let the wealth and model looks fool you, this girl is not to be messed with. Fiercely loyal and an in your face type when she wants to be, which is often. She knows the most important thing in life is family, though who may constitute as family changes by day with her.

- Nolan Dorchester is the exact opposite of Malcolm Landgraab. He's only to eager to sit in the lap of luxury and let others cater to him. Entitled and pompous but extremely outgoing he usually gets what he wants and manages to skate out of any trouble he finds himself in. Of course even guys like that have a skeleton in their closet that they would like to keep hidden.

-Evie Bollinger is...well.... let's just say a saint was never in her cards, though she's had saints up her skirt from time to time. Un-apologetically sexual she's wild, slightly unhinged and knows how to have a good time with the right man. The issue with that is as others have noted she's a man craving slut who thinks any available guy is a toy to be used and lose. Could it all stem from daddy issues, or the fact that her mother is a walking example of the dreaded town gossip so she figure she can't do anything worse then her mother has done already.

-Bebe Bebington is the all around american girl next door if you believe her. If you can believe her that means you didn't go deaf from her constant bullhorn trumpeting or grandstanding on all political issues. Bebe has an issue, she cares too much about; well everything. She will not stop, or catch a breath until everything is in perfect social order according to her liking. That or the funny guy with the big glasses and large swirling lollipop finally put her away.

-Trey Rhuddlan is usually found pounding out his frustrations on a basketball court. At least there the sweet sounds of the ball hitting the concrete drown out his girlfriends current rants. He wants to make it big doing what he loves, but needs to decide if his love for Bebe and her neurotic tendencies to chastise him for seeking fame outwill his internal need to prove himself to everybody.

I finished the university rotations.

At the dorm, Gavin's family visited him. Garrett played chess most of the afternoon with a random dormie, while Gabriella played kicky-bag with the other sims in the dorm household. Gavin spent a lot of time talking with Georgia and playing with her; her arm was put in a cast while I was playing the doctor's house, and this was the first Gavin had seen of her soccer injury. Ginger spent the visit with her highschool sweetheart, Laurie, who is part of Gavin's household. Gavin is fairly ambitious so is working hard at getting good marks. Laurie is more interested in making friends, but is managing to pass, mostly due to having high skills before starting university. Mariona is also doing well academically, but her boyfriend Andrew squeaked through with the bare minimum of his needed skills.

At the fraternity, there were a couple of parties and several dates, with very little interest in classwork. The exceptions, shockingly, were Erik Swain, who actually rolled 4 skill related wants at once - all related to skills he needed to learn in order to pass his semester, and Maik, who rolled a want for a general skill point and earning that point saved him from failing his first semester of the Sophomore year. Erik was a family sim, but after rolling so many skill wants (he rolled them repeatedly for two semesters) I decided he had a knowledge secondary. Erik and Maik fell in love and are engaged; one of their frat brothers is also interested in Maik, but Maik is offended by any advances this other man has made and is very faithful to Erik. Nigel Beauner graduated; he's still in love with the cheerleader who joined the sorority, despite having had dates with a couple of other sims. David Ottomas also graduated; he aged up into a Santa suit and moved back to his parent's house for now; his fiancee also graduated and moved in with them.

At the sorority, the ex-cheerleader Izza, was in love with both Nigel and the ex-mascot Pacey Walle. Most of her wants focus on Pacey, but if Nigel is about she'll accept anything he initiates and she does keep wanting to talk with him. I don't think either Pacey or Nigel are aware of her feelings for the other, but nobody is trying to hide their flirts either. All three have now graduated, and I have no idea what to do with any of them, or with their relationships. Nigel wants to be a game designer, Pacey wants to top the business career, and Izza wants 6 grandkids.

Malcolm Landgraab IV's fiancee, Hawise, worked hard and graduated with high marks. She has moved in with him.

Most of my main families are having their kids growing up as teens, and I feel like I'm going to put them all to the same dorm when it's time for them to go to university :-D I'm just lazy like that, and of course, their parents know each other pretty well so I want the kids to know each other better as well and do some bonding and maybe find their true love, who knows... maybe that arrogant, nasty kid Jai opens his eyes and sees what a gorgeous girl Behati is, for example... but oh, I'm not forcing any love stories, so I just need to sit back and watch, hahaha.

I played with Didi and Justin today, and with their little girl, Celeste of course. Sometimes I feel like Didi and Justin just only have eyes for each other, and don't really care about Celeste's wants. Like today, she asked mommy to read her a story about teddy bears and toilets, but mommy was wayyyy more into daddy than reading those stupid stories again. And after all that spontaneous woohoo'ing, I guess there's a little brother or sister on their way. Justin, that nasty piece of crap has many women though, which of course Didi has no idea about. She thinks she has a happy family and a pretty house, but nah girl. Justin also has a son from his previous marriage. Sometimes he rolls a want ''make friends with Gabriel'', but most of the time he has no interest towards him and that's sad.

Micke Howmany just got promoted. He's now driving an ambulance during the night. One time, he came back from work, it was 2am if I recall right. I had one of his friends over earlier that day, but the guy was still hanging around the house even though the rest of the family was sound asleep, been a good while already. It was a massive thunderstorm going on, and suddenly this big statue at the backyard got struck by lighting, and was on fire. Micke went totally crazy and ran around the house and the yard, trying to kill the fire. While Micke almost lost his life battling with the fire, his so called ''best friend'' was sitting at the living room happily playing chess. :----D I just cracked out laughing because I found it so funny. Ohhh poor Micke, you should choose your company better, don't you think?

But that's pretty much all what happened today. Haven't been playing much, and I actually just got back from my massive sims break, hahaha! It's good to be back to the sims world, I missed this weird game.

Poor Consort Capp. The water in the swimming pool is apparently (according to EA) heated, so no Sim will get cold or freeze. And if he has some body skill points, he will not drown that easily either (it takes a very long time, I am told).

At SilverMoon House, Barak moved in with his brother Balin and cousin Banyan. He spent his morning bowling and talking with friends while the other two went to work as employees. He also harvested the orchard trees which will start him off with some fresh produce in his fridge when he moves into his new home after graduation. The house juicer is full of produce right now, as is the fridge. Harvesting the trees got him a bronze gardening badge. Then it was time for class. Banyan and Balin came home at 5pm, and Balin headed off to his class. Barak made a booty call to Sara, the Smith family servo. I really need to find him an appropriate girlfriend! His highest YA match is Nerissa Kerby, so I had them have an outing at home, just to hang out and talk. They are an acceptably 2 bolts, but she's a redhead - and I already have a ton of redheads in my game! Balin came home from class and looked for a mate as well - his highest adult match is Kimberly Shelby - another redhead! Balin now has to decide between Kimberly and Wendy Bradley, his highest YA match - and yes, another redhead. While this is going on Banyan made friends with one of his professors and drank some eggplant juice since he wanted a skill point. He seems quite happy with his YA girlfriend Stephanie Ainsworth! Banyan went to bed while the others continued their outings. Barak seems to really hit it off with Narissa, they made friends fast. He triple bolts her when she's in swimwear, so that explains a lot. Balin managed a Rocking outing, while Barak's was only Super.

Barak used the energy boost from his outing to study Cosmetology - he wanted a gold badge. Balin got a mechanical point from his outing. When Banyan woke up I sent them all to University Park to meet some more YA's and generally hang out - plus it's the only way Banyan can go to class while working. There I just free-ranged them. When they got home, Balin and Banyan went straight to work and Barak declared the Economics major. Then he drank some espresso and started working on his Cosmetology badge again. After Banyan and Balin got home, it was time for finals. Balin got an A=, Banyan an A- and Barak got an A=.

My evil wizard, Dr. Fu Manchu, tried out his 'Tabula Rasa' spell on poor Cyd Roseland. When I visited Cyd, I found all in chaos. He runs The Roseland Kennels, with the aim of getting six pets to the top of their careers. Well, his memory was completely blank. All of his sim friends were at level 0 friendship; and so were all his dogs. Even Porthos snarled at his totally strange owner. Danny and Sarah Crittur would not eat from the bowls; Cyd was only able to save them from starvation by Give Love - Feed a Treat, over and over. Luckily, when Sarah gave birth to three brown puppies, they had no such reservations. They ate from the bowls, chewed the bones, and climbed into the doghouses to sleep. Sarah and Danny both went about destroying furniture, sleeping on Cyd's bed, knocking over the bin and rooting in the garbage. Cyd has to keep bathing them, over and over. He cannot get a full night's sleep because the plight of the three adult dogs is so desperate. Poor Cyd! There should be some revenge available to him.

Romeo Monty and Sandra Roth's wedding was deemed to be a "good time" by the guests, which is kind of shocking because Patrizio Monty died right after the couple exchanged vows and then later in the night Sandra's dad, Morty Roth, got into a fistfight with Denise Jacquet. I guess maybe it was a good time because now the guests have a lot of gossip to spread around. But poor Isabella and Bianca both had a fear of Patrizio's death and went into the red. Bianca recovered slightly by fulfilling a want to make friends with one of the wedding guests, but Isabella had a full on breakdown and got a visit from the therapist in the middle of the party. Patrizio died happy though, since his greatest wish was to see Romeo married and settled before he died. After removing Mercutio from the line of inheritance, Patrizio feared that Romeo would refuse and then the Monty heirship would be a bit in jeopardy.

Surprisingly, Sandra and Romeo actually have a fairly good relationship at the moment. They got married using the hacked marriage arch, so the good relationship wasn't a given, but they were already friends and despite their conflicting aspirations have two bolts of chemistry (I blame Romeo's romance attraction boost benefit). Sandra is a little sad because she had hopes of marrying Jacob Martin, but she's happy to help her family by making this marriage and she's already switched her affections to Romeo. I would feel bad for her, but Jacob is nowhere near as invested in her as she was in him so that was a disaster waiting to happen too. Of course, I have no doubt that Sandra's view of Romeo would change if she discovered that 1. he slept with her mother and 2. one of the illegitimate Tricous recently gave birth to his baby daughter. Should be interesting to see how the relationship develops over time!

Still at SilverMoon House, it's time for the second half of the year for the boys. I play one day rotations = 1 year college to keep ages in sync, and I don't send teens til they are 5 days away from aging up. Balin and Barak bowled for a bit after doing a bit of group research. Banyan free-ranged for a bit, but he was a bit ADD so I set him to learning logic. Barak went to bed while Balin worked on his first term paper - he finally rolled the want! Balin played a game after finishing his term paper while Banyan continued to study. The boys both ate, Banyan went back to studying and Balin did homework. Then it was time for Banyan and Balin to head off to work. Barak made friends with Prof. Evan and went back to work on his Cosmetology badge.

When Banyan and Balin got home from work I sent Balin to bed and Banyan to the espresso machine - he has research to do if he wants to pass! But first I let him call friends to get his needs up. Then it was final time again! Balin finished with an A+, Banyan finished with an A+, and Barak finished with an A+.

Playing the Ottomas family was crazy, and that was mostly because the family has gotten so big. David had graduated and moved back home with his girlfriend; they were standing by the mailbox with high needs at 2 am when I loaded the lot. Also living in the house were Dora and her husband Joe Graham, Peter and Samantha, teen Sharla, children Tommy, Jeoff, George, and Lisa, and toddler Carly. Samantha and Tommy were wide awake and playing chess, and everyone else was asleep - it was Friday morning.

First, David needed a change of clothes; I used the hacked coat hook to replace the Santa suit with slacks and a mostly open shirt. David and Peta had a date, and David finally rolled a want to get married. He followed it with a want to have a party, so they decided their wedding would take place in the living room after every got home from work and school. After their date, Peta got a job in a kindergarten, and David bought a piece of property to open a music related business on; he still wants to be a rock god, but he hasn't found a job in music yet. They spent the rest of the day watching Carly, talking with Dora, and getting the house ready for the wedding.

Tommy rolled a want for a pet, and since he's had difficulty making friends and is very responsible, Samantha agreed that the family could adopt a dog. They chose Moody, a friendly large dog. Peta soon rolled a want to adopt a kitten, but she'll have to wait until she and David have their own place. Tommy became friends with Moody very quickly; he then had a nap before school started. Peter works in agriculture and had an early start to the day, but he still got up to make omelets for everyone before he left for work. Carly was in a bad mood due to low needs - she spent the morning fighting low bladder and energy, unable to stay asleep due to a need to use the potty but too tired to use the potty. Eventually she managed to get just enough sleep that she was willing to use the potty, but then she slept until Dora had to wake her up to feed her (hunger was getting very low).

I'd been having glitches with Samantha - she'd been stuck in her career and not getting promoted despite meeting all the requirements. I used cheats to get her to level 6; either in my attempts to track down the cause of the glitch I fixed it, or the cheat got her unstuck. She came home with a promotion to level 7. Joe came home from his business job wanting a promotion but needing a nap. The wedding was going to start in an hour, but he chose to sleep through most of it.

The wedding was held in the living room. The yard would have been a nicer spot, but on the first day of spring the snow was very deep. Most furniture was moved out, and David set up his stereo for dancing while Peta put a wedding arch by the window. Dora made fish for the dinner and bought a cake at the bakery in Bluewater village for them. The six guests were Ginger Newson and friends from university - some graduated, and some still living with either the frat or sorority. Ashley and Heather Huffington (she hadn't been invited, but was caught up as a walkby) spent the whole party flirting and kissing. The ceremony was awkward, as guests and siblings kept blocking David's way from the dining room to the arch, but eventually Peta and David were able to say their vows. Ginger then lost her crush on David; I had forgotten she still had it, as she's been in love with someone else for a couple of rotations now. But David had been her best friend for most of high school, and she wanted it to be more though he had rejected her attempts to make out as teens. Carly aged to child as they were cutting the cake; she was hungry again, so was one of the first to get a slice. Most of the family and guests spent the evening dancing and playing with Moody; the party ended as a roof-raiser.

David and Peta heard chimes before going to sleep for the night. They needed the rest; the next day they moved to their new home, closer to their future music store (currently an empty 3x3 lot). David took Peta's name, so they are now the Kratz household. I played them for one day before going back to the Ottomas household. Peta rolled a want to get a pet, and I remembered her earlier want for a kitten, so she adopted Bonkers. David is still looking for a job, but has made friends with a couple of neighbours who came by - Cyd Roseland and Gilbert Jaquet.

Back at the Ottomas', Saturday started with training Moody not to chew furniture and cleaning up from the party. Eventually most of the children in the house rolled either a want to earn an A+ or a want to do homework, and Samantha and Peter helped when they were available. Dora passed away Saturday night while cleaning the toilet in the powder room. Her family and three visitors tried to crowd in to witness her death, but nobody else fit in the room; the hula zombies were on the driveway with Joe and everyone else was in the hallway or kitchen. Poor Joe. Dora's death devastated him, and the Therapist dropped in for a quick visit. His health has taken a turn for the worse, and he's moved into a senior's residence, which should be quieter than the crazy Ottomas household. While he was using the computer to move out, Samantha set fire to the stove (grilled cheese can be more dangerous than I thought). With the excitement of Joe leaving, only Samantha and Jeff noticed the fire, and fortunately Samantha was able to get it out before it spread.

On Sunday, Tommy became a teen and Peter aged to elder. Tommy is now knowledge/fortune, with a LTW to become an ecological guru. He also wants to get a telescope and resurrect Dora (he might get the telescope, but not the other). He doesn't have it yet though, and instead of stargazing he spent the evening fixing plumbing - for some reason, all three toilets and one shower broke that afternoon. Sharla kept rolling wants to talk to Gavin Newson, so they had an outing together; he's older than her, but they will likely end up together after she's started university. When I played him at university, Gavin was also rolling wants to talk to Sharla.

Samantha rolled a want to get to level 7 in cleaning, and a want to encourage Carly to be sloppy. That struck me as odd - I'd want my kids to be neater than me, not messier. Besides, Carly is already one point messier than Samantha. Maybe she just wants the house to get dirty faster so she can learn by cleaning instead of reading.

On Monday, Samantha got a bad chance card and got demoted from level 7 to level 4. It was still early in the day, so she walked back to work. She came home with a promotion to level 5. She's also started training Moody some more commands. Moody will be getting a job in security - or as Samantha's police dog.

I haven't played Tuesday with them yet. I'm not sure what else can happen; they've already had a wedding, a death, three people move out, a new pet, promotions and demotions, birthdays, broken plumbing, dates, and a fire.

Just getting back into playing after a few months, reacquainting myself with what's happening.
Elderly twin, Anson has twin daughters, one of whom, Salina, is back living in the family home with her wife, Amora. They adopted a girl, then Amora got pregnant. Queue the Sim god (me) returning to find the father of Amora's baby is Anson. I forgot that completely. His "grandson" is actually his son.
Elsewhere in the neighbourhood so far, one death from old age and one birth of a second son, and the creation of a vampire. It takes me a while to get back into it and create stories.
