This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Sims 2 Double Deluxe on window 7 64bit
I just gotten my cousin Window 7 64bit computer. I been having trouble downloading The Sime2 Double Deluxe cd. It keep saying it can't finish transfer the file. Had no trouble on Window 7 32bit. I heard it should still work on 64 bit. What should I do. I haven't play my Sims 2 since December of last year. Please help.

You need to make sure your disk don't have any scratches in it or if it is dirty.

Hold your disk up to a light and see if you see any holes in it.

I have Win 7 64bit and it works just fine for me.

I did. I don't use it since I have to use Apartment Life to play my game. I just download the Double deluxe since that is the main game I need.

I have the CD bought game that a friend gave me. It will get stuck with transfer the file.

I had to reinstall the game again cause troubles. It seem to be always the base double deluxe that stops. The others go fine.

Definitely a scratched disk or something. Might be dirty. You can try to clean the CD with a soft cloth and some kind of liquid like water. I used that liquid thing you use to clean glasses and my CD worked fine... until I needed to reinstall again.
