I'm playing a historical hood (currently victorian) and therefor the school bus especially but also the carpool, are very out of place there. I'm looking for a hack to make them not show up or possibly some other solution/workaround. I've been using Simlogical's flexi school, but if I actually want them to go at times, they change into the privateschool uniform and most of my simmies are poor peasants so it doesn't really fit. There's also a sign from Simlogical that can stop the carpool/school bus, but sadly that conflicts with another mod I have and don't want to be without so I had to remove it. Since lots of people seem to be playing historical hoods (especially medieval and victorian) I figured I can't be alone in this and hopefully there are more alternative out there!

Thank you simmer22, I very much appreciate your suggestions, even if I admit I'm not too keen on the transport replacements themselves. I'll go through the other default replacements you linked though, because even if I already have quite a few there might be something new and shiny.

Which mod is it clashing with? If you mean allfixes you can safely remove that. I noticed no difference without it. I think the AL patch fixed most of the things it fixed. Also if you just place the sign the kids wont change into uniform it just stops the bus and car pool so you can have them walk off the lot in their regular clothes. It's really the best mod out there for any kind of historical hood.
