This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Another graphic device not found question (seriously please help)
Hi, I'm not quite sure if anyone still care about the sims 3 but I need help. I don't want to say I'm dumb but my graphic design skills does not help for my game not recognizing my graphics card. I tried the wiki page ----> http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...zed_by_the_game but I'm not literate enough to understand what I'm suppose to put in the .sgr files and I'm too scrared to mess up my computer or the game period. I've managed to overcome all sims 3 problems so far without having to post (like seriously this has to be my 100th time starting over in sims 3 lifespan) so with that being saying can someone help PLEASE!!! I'm crying and hungry (I should eat)

Just cause I'm curious and not all that bright with computer stuff...what does that mean? Like mine is a GPU level 5, too , but a CPU 3. Just curious yo.

The CPU rating in TS3 is purely based on clock frequency speed of the CPU, which is outdated and inaccurate. Today's modern CPUs are faster not simply because of frequency, but you have to consider other factors such as cache and turbo. For example, my i7 is only 2.6GHz, but it turbos at 3.4-3.6GHz.

Pretty much all modern CPUs can be set to 4 in TS3. You can do this manually by changing the graphicsrules.sgr. This will make a pretty dramatic impact in how the game performs, most notable is how many sims show up on a community lot.

A) This is the easiest change.

B) I prefer this change b/c it is just more thorough. Right below the changes in A, you will see the frequency cutoff for each level. Change the levels lower to match your clock speed.

Hi! Sorry for the late response but I finally got to use my game and it says the 1/1 thing so that's awesome and you're awesome. So appreciative of your help. My game is lagging more than usual but hey that's another problem another day. Again thanks so much

Maybe some of the suggestions On This Page will help you somewhat with the lag you are experiencing
