Viewing new house - The Belaggio
Hi

We're still waiting for the EP in the UK, and while waiting I've been experimenting a bit.

This big house is built on diagonal arched bridges as well as straight, and merges the pool and the lake on which the house stands.

Many rooms have diagonal walls too, and so it was interesting - without the 45-degree - cheat to build a great environment for Sims.

It's called Belaggio because it was loosely inspired by a hotel in Spain (sorta based on the Vegas casino), but spelt differently because it's a house!

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Tiko

Are you considering putting that up for download? It's amazing. That's like, MikeInside standard right there, maybe even better.

What about, when you are experimenting more than "a bit"? ;D
How long did it take you?

Could you possibly send the file of the house to my e-m-mail at [email protected]. The house looks very well designed. You could consider yourself as being a great architecture.

Well, I just wanted to say a big Thank You to everyone for these comments.

I came back the other day after a longish bout of illness, to post a query about another lot (Rialto Bridge) and boy did these comments cheer me up.

I've just sent the house to the folk who asked for it, and have said to April that it has no hacks or careers, just a couple of wall files. I like using the original Maxis stuff most of the time - a lot more can be done with it than maybe we realise?

If anyone else wants the house, just ask.

And Shelly - yeah, I'd love to get the 'copters to land off the road, at least!
