Default Is there a mod to throw a party and everyone you invite will come?
Is there a mod where you are able to invite sims over or throw a party and they will come over despite having low relationship, work, school, etc? I hate the whole dialogue "You will be missing some guests," or "So and so is at work."
Sometimes when my sim is going to get married they will invite the in-laws to the party despite not having a high relationship and they won't come for the wedding. Or a teen sim won't come over because of school.

Thanks

I've never had anybody refuse to come to a wedding party, myself. But when I need extra bodies, or someone I really need to be there doesn't come, or the party limit is just too low, I deploy the teleporter cat.

If I could only have one piece of CC it would have to be the batbox, but if I could only have two, the second one would be the teleporter!

You can also teleport sims in using the sim blender. The sim blender also does a number of other actions that are handy. Read about it here

Uh oh! My social bar is low - that's why I posted today.

A teleporter in whatever shape it comes in, be it the cat, the blender, or other all does the same thing. Except Christianlov's mirror as that makes them selectable and they will end up with messages about missing work or school then unless you place the Simlogical school and work sign.

There is a mod that makes all Sims that are invited to show up (up to 8) but I don't remember where I saw it and will go look for it.

ADD: See post #9 for the link.

Take a look at some of my back posts... with TwoJeff's Simblender, (or any teleporter device) you just invite a sim or two that you are on really good terms with, and as soon as they arrive, pause , and then use the Simblender and summon whoever else you want. The summoned people will leave when the invited guests leave, and you only have to 'entertain'/socialize with the one or two you have actually invited to get a good party score.
Hth.

Otherwise Marka's link for the mod sounds very helpful, too !

Sims 2 doesn't stop sims at work from coming to parties. In fact it's a useful workaround if you can't invite them over normally. That message is from group outings.

But yes teleporters are good. That info is incorrect, though. It doesn't matter who you socialise with at a party as long as you socialise with somebody. It can be somebody who wasn't invited at all but who decided to phone up, or a walkby. What matters for party score is number of relationship points gained. If you woohoo or spend a lot of time with one person you can ignore everyone else and as long as they aren't fighting everything will be fine! The easiest way to a good party is to invite a bunch of sims who are friends with each other. That way they will naturally interact with one another and the party score will be good.

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

Thanks for the correction, simsfreq. I've been doing a few parties here and there and I thought it was best to socialize with the actual 'invitees', and left the other sims --who were 'invited' by Simblender-- alone.
This makes it a bit easier.

Ah yes, but for weddings surely there's always someone in a stew about some imagined slight and doesn't turn up to spite you? Mind you, I confess I use the cat to get them there anyway. Nothing like a dust up at a wedding.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

People are so consistent about showing up for weddings in Drama Acres, I thought it was impossible to turn down a wedding invitation! I only started deploying the teleporter cat for them because my families (specifically the Hawkinses; it was for Pigeon's wedding to Ezekial that I downloaded it to begin with, because the minimum number of people who needed to be there was 30) always have more than 8 people who need to show up.

In a way it's "cheating" because my teleporter cat occasions always have good party scores without effort; but there's a lot more gaming satisfaction in having a family that raises the roof with no input from me than in having to run around forcing interactions. The all-free-range party success beats all the aspiration rewards in the bin, as the imprimatur of success.

Thank you for the link, marka ! Went over to Insimenator and grabbed it.
I'm assuming it does not conflict with SimBlender, since no one in the comments over there mentioned it.

Christianlov's phone does that with ease, too. I use that constantly. It's a regular item in my Sims' houses. Just make sure you don't invite people you DON'T want to come, such as those nasty unplayable NPCs. Stay away from those.

Personally, I'm still leery of Auto-Call after my experience with the older version of the mod (in an obsolete version, my Sim called a dog), but that might just be overcaution on my part. I use the Easy Party, Power Invite and Power Call features only.

Thanks to ALL free-site creators, admins and mods.

Teleporters are extremely useful. I use the one from Paladin's Place. Making sims selectable is useful as well (except when you select the nanny/maid and the game thinks they aren't working anymore and spawns a new one).

Another note about negative relationships: if two Sims you invite already have rubbish (think -100/-100 relations), go ahead and invite them anyway. They can't lose more relationship points and it provides a good talking point for the other Sims passing the popcorn (so less risk of relationship loss through bad conversations - all Sims love talking about a good fight, including the aggrieved parties).

I thought so too. The wiki says here:

"The difference between normal parties and wedding parties is that every guest will be in their formal clothes, and any guest invited will show up even if they have a low relationship with that Sim."

Mind you, the wiki can be wrong.
