Welcome to Sunnyside!
This set of basegame mini lots has the sun at the front, so all your houses will be bright and cheerful. No EPs required.
If you are wanting the Community Sunnyside lots, look here.
If you want the desert versions, look here.
I've been using the original mini lots by Andi8104 and MaryLou for a long time, and I love them. However, I always hated having the front of the house in shadow when I went to take pictures, so I decided to try and fix it.
If you have seen plasticbox's 2xN lots, mine are north-facing by his description.
My lots are firmly based on the originals. I have just turned them around, so the sun is at the front, instead of behind the building. Without the work done to shrink the lots in the first place, these could never have been made. (At least not by me - I looked at Andi's instructions for shrinking lots, and couldn't make head or tail of them.)
I am a builder, not a modder, and I have been babied through this entire process by all sorts of helpful (and very patient) people. These include Mootilda, MaryLou, Niol, Plasticbox, Inge, Numenor, and even my husband, who knows nothing about Sims 2 but is a good problem-solver. And of course, Andi8104, in absentia.
The lots have been made for any game configuration, using Numenor's Basegame Starter Pro. All the sizes are included, vertical and horizontal.
Special thanks to Mootilda for her endless patience in explaining how to use SimPE, and to MaryLou for creating custom thumbnails and cleaning up my packages.
The Lot Rotation tutorial is here.
Enjoy building on the sunny side of the street!

About Me
One of the best things about the Sims 2 community is the generosity of so many people, who make things, write tutorials and generally encourage everyone to get the most out of the game. I have benefited enormously from the work and advice of many others, and I thank them for their time and effort.
If you like my work, remember to hit the Thanks button. It's nice to feel appreciated. Constructive feedback is also welcome - I can't fix it if I don't know it's broke.
Please enjoy my creations, and keep it free!
