Hi, I have TS3 and I wish to update it.

However, I can't access the EA website so I can't download from this link .

Is there any other way for me to manually download it, or maybe someone can give me a link to another site (like Mediafire)?

sorry - i thought you were unable to grab it directly from EA. thats why i said get it here at Mod The Sims. the link you posted isnt familiar for me. is it an reliable source? only grab updates from reliable sites - which in fact are EA or MTS for me ;-)

I don't know that the "akamai" part is, but I believe the last link Joonas08Joonas is an EA link ("ea.com"). Possibly from the Canadian site, given the "cdn" part.

yes...but if its an EA link (canadian or shmovesia WHATSOEVER) thats not working then there were so many alternate links posted already here that Joonas08Joonas can try i see no reason whats still the problem

also no-one else should download from that link he posted (the binary file) just in case. use the other links if you read this cause you want to patch and dont know how. i recommend the wiki link here at MTS

Patchdownloader didn't give anything,

Simsvip LINKS to the akamai.cdn.ea whatever, same about the patches site. They lead to the EA site, but I can't connect to the EA site at all, so that's why I was wondering.

okay i got you wrong. completely wrong. sorry for that stupid shmovese BUT back to your problem: hmm did you checked the ea.answers?

maybe manually patching from this link works (advised by EA if one cant connect to EAs server for normal patching)
