simbalena Original Poster Top Secret Researcher Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 1,670	My sim has a LTW to make three monsters. So what are monsters and how do I make them? Are they animal, mineral or vegetable?

iheartcowcapoos Field Researcher Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 314 Thanks: 56 in 1 Posts 2 Achievements	they're simbots. making them is kind of hard (i still havent made one yet) but you can buy 3 with lifetime reward points and it still counts as "creating them" (i dont know how) i bought 3 and my sims lifetime wish was completed (i used testingcheatsenabled true to get a bunch of LTR points to buy 3) to make one you have to wait for the opportunities to come up. it will ask you in 4 opportunities to take 10 life fruit, 1 bar palladium, 1 heart cut pink diamond, and 100 pieces of scrap to science lab and then you'll be able to make a simbot at the work bench AND if you buy them they come out rusty but if you make them they're all sleek and new looking.

My inventor's currently in Egypt looking for sarchophagus fragments Though I hear you can get a mummy (or become one?) via the time machine too. Haven't had that happen yet. Not sure about ghosts. My inventor's living with an older woman, so maybe he'll have a chance to see if that counts at all

I'm curious because I'm making an inventor sim and I don't want him dabbling in the paranormal... Curious if I should get the monsters LTW or the Da Vinci one..

Srikandi Pattern Pusher Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 5,397 Thanks: 11425 in 63 Posts 13 Achievements	There's nothing in the LTW description that says you have to make three DIFFERENT KINDS of monster. Just three monsters. I think the monsters LTW is the harder one... although maybe less time-consuming, if you have good strategies for getting all the bits and pieces you need for either simbots or mummies. It does take a lot more searching around and relying on the random number generator for rare drops.

iheartcowcapoos Field Researcher Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 314 Thanks: 56 in 1 Posts 2 Achievements	or you can just cheat an buy 3 simbots XD thats what i did for my first one. for my next sim with the same wish i'm going to build them. just waiting for the opportunities to come up is all. that's time consuming enough. good thing i have all the required materials already! =) i dont have WA, so my only option is simbots i dont think there are different kind of simbots.. i mean they look different but they dont count as different

How do you get the LTR points using the cheat? Ive been searching everywhere.
