Default Video Tutorial: Custom Snack using CCLoader

In this video tutorial, I will teach you how to create a Chocolate Pie snack recipe using CCLoader.

Requirements:
  • Basic modding knowledge
  • Basic meshing/texturing knowledge

Please, be aware. I won't teach you how to mesh or texture a 3d model, I will skip this part.

Requirements Files/Tools:
Part 0 - Make sure you successfully installed CCLoader:
Unzip the content from the 'CCLoader.zip' inside your mods folder. Like any other mod.

Part 1 - Clone, rename and rehash a Model:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjwQND1djCQ

Tips:
  • It's important to clone a food model because usually they already have all the required geostates (example: full, half, empty) and materials (normal and burn).
  • You must rehash the model's InstanceKey using the tool mentioned in the video, because the game uses a different hash for recipes, ingredients and plants.

Part 2 - Preparing the RecipeData:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3UT9D6waxQ

Part 3 - Language Localization for Recipes:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcudF1S5mP0
Key for recipe name localization: "Gameplay/Excel/RecipeMasterList/Data:douglasveiga_ChocolatePie"

Part 4 - Congratulations! Now you can check your new snack in the game. You can buy it from any fridge.

OBS1: You can merge all recipe files package into a single package for easy distribution.
OBS2: You can check the final package files in the attachment (foodEatChocolatePie.zip).

Ohh woaw! This is such a great tutorial to follow! Usually, when I try to make mods like these, I get stuck at editing certain files. Thank you so much! \^.^/
