I'm installing seasons on my new laptop. I keep getting an error message that says

"A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'E:\TSBin\Sims2EP5.exe' from the media.

Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?"

I click retry and it keeps happening. Advice? Thanks!

Sounds like the disc's gone bad. Try gently wiping the bottom; if there's scratches or smudges that can help. If that doesn't work, see if you can copy the files to your hard drive and install it from there.

Also, I'd suggest you keep this to one thread. You're making a bit of a mess all over the board. (Plus, it's easier for us to help you if you keep things together.)
