Carrie, I would say yes, unless there's some other goal they have to complete associated with their career. I'm just not having Jessie do his career at all. I initially had an angle worked out for it, but him and Annie have turned out quite differently from how I pictured them when I initially rolled for Gen 2. It just doesn't fit him, or her either.

That's where I was going when I made him so skeptical/derisive of Bronwyn's abilities as a witch; his roll was con fortune teller.

Hey guys,

So after 4 months of being separated from my laptop with sims 3 on it, I tried playing again and the game basically had a meltdown. Every time I go into CAS the game crashes and the crashlog analyzer says that my computer doesn't have enough memory. But I know this isn't true, the game ran just fine 4 months ago and no one has touched my computer or my sims 3 games since. I wanted to start a random legacy save, but I can't even make my founders!

EDIT: I was able to get it to work...somehow.

Also I've decided to make a blog! I had to make a different save and a different family from the one I was originally planning to blog about, but I hope you guys enjoy it!

Marcy, do you delete your cache files on a regular basis? CASPartCache.package, simCompositorCache.package, socialCache.package, compositorCache.package and scriptCache.package should all be fine to delete each time before you start up the game. Doing so has done wonders for me in terms of performance.

If that is not the issue, maybe have a look around crinrict's blog; possibly the lags&freezes post. There are a ton of good tips there that have helped me in the past.

Good to see that you got it working for now though! I have to go run some errands now, but I can't wait to read your new blog once I get back :D

Well. I just got off working nine days in a row (my own fault for trading shifts with people without counting my days). And I now have two days off. Along with finishing up making gifts, I am planning on doing some playing and having another chapter before Christmas. Though, that's if I don't get distracted playing Final fantasy XV again. I swear that's all I've been doing since my last update, work and FF. xD
