Default Graphic Problem
Hello everyone,

Since a couple of days my sims game has been acting crazy. Every time after a change someones clothing, my graphics go weird. I do have custom content installed, but it happens also when my sims wears an outfit from a official sims 3 game or expansion.
It keeps getting worse. My game ends up crashing as well. I have been playing the sims longer, also on a mac, and this problem has never happened to me before. I am by no means technical, but could it be my videocard (Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB)?

This is what I mean:

I hope someone can help me :)

Usually integrated graphics are subpar. Do you have the latest drivers? That may give you a small boost.

If you play games often, you'd be better off buying a best bang for the buck card. I have a Palit GeForce 240 GT I bought over four years ago for about $100, and it still runs all the games I've tried, reasonably well. Sims 3 tends to burn out higher end cards because it has frame rate issues, though you can install a limiter.

I have never seen that.

I'd say that upgrading the video card is out, since OP sounds like they're on a Macintosh? If it's only started happening lately, it could be some new CC is the culprit. Does it happen in a vanilla setup?
