Default age mod and various conversions
I've been thinking of getting a mod that increases my sims lifespan for a while, but have never been sure which one to get. Any suggestions? Preferably one that doesn't conflict with ACR, as I've read that that can be a problem and I do have it installed and have zero skills to make one that would work with it. My ACR version is V2 if that helps any.
As for the conversions, one is an elder version of the Sagittarian Dream dress from the Sims3 Boho Vintage set. I know darkmoon made a teen-adult conversion over on the Big Trade-Off, but I can't seem to find an elder version anywhere and the 3t2 conversion database doesn't have any info on that either. Here's a link to the journal entry so you can see what dress I'm talking about: http://thebigtradeoff.livejournal.com/35593.html
The next conversion is actually more of a set (or at least anything that's been done of it as of now). I'm looking for conversions of the stuff from the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, mostly from Mirror of Fate. Clothes, items, build mode stuff, whatever is currently available. I'm especially interested in seeing if the Watchman's outfit has been converted for all ages, both male and female, with all morphs appropriate to the specific ages. Not because I have some project going on, but simply because I happen to be a fan of the Castlevania series and have already downloaded everything that I could find here on MTS via search.

Thanks in advance!

For me if I need to extend the life of my sims then its the ingame item "Elixir of Life" which has 5 shots at 3 days each as long as your sim is gold or above.

I use double aging which is about right for me. Babies are the same but everyone else gets double. I don't allo0w teens to have double though I either send them to uni or grow them up to Young Adults in the main hood after 10 days. http://modthesims.info/d/437709
Elixer does not work on toddlers or children and for me they are the ones who desperately need more time. 8 days for an entire childhood is pretty pathetic.

Do you want to change the proportions, or just slow down ageing?

If you just want to slow them down then BoilingOil's mod is definitely the simplest. It doesn't conflict with anything and it doesn't require any new settings for ACR etc. How it works is that instead of ageing daily, sims age on (for example) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Or Mondays and Thursdays. Or just Mondays.

If you want to change the proportion of each stage, then you'll want a mod which allows the constant values to be changed. This is what I use. I've also modded ACR2 for my age stages. My mod has:

If you're interested in mine I don't mind sharing my ACR controller but I can't offer you any support with it so if it doesn't work for you you'd have to put the original back in.

There is also Hat's Gestational ageing ACR controller but that is set for SUPER long life spans, so they are very fertile right up until they turn elder. It's a workaround if you don't want them to be infertile but unless you want really long lives, you lose the fertility drop-off as sims age.

Is there a tutorial to change the lifespans?
I like the mod Jo suggested but I want to change the teenagers' lifespan back.
Edit: I think I figured out how to do it, hail SimPE!

Thanks for the suggestions, guys I think I may have narrowed the choices for the mod down a bit.
joandsarah77, I agree that toddlers and child sims definitely need the increased lifespan the most. Honestly, if it wasn't for the Smart Milk, I don't know if I'd ever manage to teach my tots all their necessary skills before they age.
simsfreq, I honestly didn't know that BoilingOil had done that! Could you post a link to the mod so I can give it a look, please? I know I'd seen Hat's mod up on her dreamwidth, but I'd never grabbed it as, last I'd checked, it wasn't set up to work with V2 of ACR (as it was still in beta at the time). Sucks though, I think it would be great as I've got a couple BACC ideas that I want to do and don't want to loose fertility so I can get population numbers up as soon as I can. I think I'll have to recheck that post to see if such updates have been done.

I almost forgot about this one.

BO - Slow Aging Controller: Sims do no longer need to age every day. User-configurable

ADD: I see simsfreq already had this one listed but here is the link.
