This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Ambitions, Late Night, Showtime, Supernatural, Into the Future
Default group with roommate
I invited a Sim that was at the University that my Sim used to attend to my house. I asked the sim to be by roommate. I then formed a group with the sim, but she just stared at the street. How do I get a roommate to leave the lot with me?

Have you tried clicking on your preferred destination for the group and selecting "Go here with group" ?
