I discovered that imaginary friends can get hungry/starve. I don't really like them and have always just gotten rid of them but now decided to see if they're worth playing. But still, starving? Seriously? They also keep muching down rocket cookies and they're still hungry...

Before, after, during... you don't need a clear sky over your own head, only a clear path from the sun to where you see the rainbow. Right now in the Pacific Northwest is excellent rainbow weather, showers & sun-breaks alternating nearly every day. You can be under one thing and look around to enjoy the results of other things.

Actually that does happen though it's rare. All you need to get a rainbow is for light to be refracted through a lens or crystal. Water drops in the air do this during or after a rainstorm as long as you got sunlight shining through them. Same goes for ice crystals that can be in the air during or after snow storms. Usually they are a lot fainter and harder to see and combine with another effect known as a sundog.

I guess it's more like contrary to popular belief that says rainbow only comes after the rain then. Or I've been lied to all this time.

I learned that the game has the graduation robes from Generations tagged as outerwear.

Now I need to learn to use dresser so I can stop townies from spawning in them...

I just discovered a new routing problem with pools. It seems that I cannot build pools into an existing basement anymore without borking the lot. What I mean is that since Late Night it has been possible to build a basement "basin" first and then a pool from above such that you can place windows on the pool walls which will then light up the basement. Even if you remove most of the basement afterwards such that there's no connection anymore between the basement and the pool, routing inside the pool will remain broken.
The only way to have a basement and a pool together is by strictly keeping them separate.
Screenshot 1 shows a pool where I had built the pool first and then the basement. No problems there.
Screenshot 2 shows the exact same arrangement, but I had built a larger basement first and then the pool into that "basin" next. I wanted a basement that surrounds the whole pool, but got Sims sinking into the pool floor while swimming. After demolishing the surrounding basement and having a one-tile gap between basement and pool, the routing problems remained, as you can see.

I have no idea if it is just for this sim or many others in Monte Vista, but this guy (not made by me, townie) is wearing Barcelona-football clothing as his Athletic wear!

I don't why but my witch Sims never get sick, but apparently non-occult Sims do. My born in game witch Sim married a born in game non-oocult inactive, and their older son is non-occult and their younger son is a witch. I got a notice tonight that the older son was sick. I have never seen that when my witch Sims are children or any other age stage.

That Evil Sims make surprisingly good parents.

Whenever any other Sim is woken up in the middle of the night, they'll whine and complain about he baby being loud and generally be all grumpy about it.

Evil Sims however... "MUAHAHAHA! Look at that baby! It is suffering!" And then they get the Fiendishly Delighted moodlet. Even better if the baby is Evil, too. "MUAHAHAHA! I woke up my parents and now they're suffering!"

Evil is just one messed up happy family, isn't it?

My sim Eva Paltrow, who is a teenager, have this boyfriend called Antonio Monty. When both we're teenagers they fell in love and became boyfriend and girlfriend.
Antonio is now an adult, yet Eva is still a teenager and they are still boyfriend and girlfriend? (I have no mod to make it that way installed!)

They will retain the relationship of boyfriend/girlfriend, even though, without mod, it will be platonic until she ages up. If you want them to continue to enjoy romantic intimacy, you'll need a mod to help out. Otherwise, just wait for her birthday, or, if he's acting impatient, just cake her up so they can move on.

I think that's the game's feature. I actually love it. In The Sims 2, once the boyfriend or the girlfriend grows up into an adult, their romantic relationship breaks, and you need a mod to keep their relationship upon growing up.

Continuing on the theme of "Evil is just one messed up happy family." or "I should have tried playing Evil Sims sooner."

Evil Sims automatically get the Fiendishly Delighted moodlet when working as a Criminal. Making the easily the superior choice for the, well, Emperor of Evil Lifetime Award. Kind of neat, really.

But perhaps the best is just how amusing they are. A fire breaks out and mother/daughter immediately roll wants to see the fiery ghost of the other Sim despite having a full 100 relationship with each other. That's just hardcore. "I love you and all, but it'd be TOTALLY AWESOME if you could die in a fire!"

Also, two Evil Sims doing a High Five. Of course the receiving Sim pulls his hand away, and then they both laugh at how evil they both are. "That's Evil! I'm Evil, too! Yay!"

I just discovered that the "hang out" socialization (the one where a bunch of sims just sit on the floor and chat) is exclusive to TS2. I could have sworn I saw TS3 sims do it a long time ago :/

I've discovered sims in the medical profession can determine whether an expectant mother is having a girl or boy.

Teens can "hang out" on playgrounds I think they talk to one another on the swings. TS2 version sounds interesting though.
