Can anyone find any stockings for males? I don't want tights, I want stockings. They look like really high socks. Prefferably lace or fishnet and, if possible, with garters. I didn't mean to sound rude in the second and third sentances, but I found something that said stockings, but they were tights.

She made a lot of her cc for male sims also. Some of the links are dead ( well, at least 1 anyway) I just re raided her cc for about the fourth/fifth time and couldn't find a working link to some posters she made but everything else worked. If you hit a dead link there might be an active one in one post she made when she had to re upload a bunch of cc that got deleted by (mediafire?) some file sharing site. Wish she'd return to creating , she made great cc, posted hilarious pictures and outrageous text. Gold all the way around.

ETA The stockings that are linked to are messed up. They are 2kb downloads and while fine in dashboard will not add anything you'd want in your game in CAS, believe me! I'll leave the link up as a general source of sleazy and skeezy clothes for both genders and as I mention in my next post if I can find working copies of these stockings for either/both genders I'll update with links.

For some reason, when I download the stockings, I just have blue covering my sims body up to the neck

Same thing here with the stockings. I had already merged it in with other cc too when I saw that, hopefully that didn't happen to you also. My apologies. I should have noticed the package was only 2kb in size also. The dashboard didn't show any conflicts or show it as an empty package so I just merged it in , lol. Oh well, I know there is a way to remove stuff from merged cc packages and I've been procrastinating on learning/trying it , so I guess know is the time for that . The last couple of comments on that item from my initial link reflect the same thing.

I think it was initially fine ( both male and female versions) judging from the comments and then something got messed up when she had to re-upload all or most of her cc as noted in this post http://xxxkinkywiqxxx.blogspot.com/...e-paginate=true . I'm glad you at least found some useful items from her site. She hasn't been active in quite awhile now and I still want those stockings for my simettes so I'll post a wcif on Simscave ( now that they're back up!) looking for them , and explaining about the file size, cas display, file date etc in the next week or so. I'll ask for both genders and if I have any luck I'll post an update/edit on this with that info added.

you can also try to enable the female stockings to male with ctu.
open the package in ctu, go to part category tab, gende, male, commit, save package

For some reason anything I edit in CTU prevents my game from loading. I've tried changing gender in other programs, but they make males have female parts. Thanks for the advice, though.

^ That's because clothing is generally made based on two meshes: male or female. For babies, toddlers and kids, these two meshes are the same, which is why you can have pretty much any clothes for both genders. For teen-elder, the meshes are different, which is why you need to look for gender-specific clothes if they modify the sim mesh.

Accessories that don't rely on body parts e.g. hats, makeup, bracelets, earrings should be fine for both genders. Some hairs can be enabled for both genders without any clipping or minor clipping at best. It's trial and error, really. I also suggest using S3PE to make changes like these if CTU doesn't work; I've used S3PE a lot and had no issue.

Empress Jekaterina - downloaded both the "gayfriendly" and "regular" options + the EJ lingerie set and they still make the entire sim's body (sans head) blue. IDK what's going on.

robokitty's trashy tights - they show up just fine for me. But they're tights, and you're not looking for that.

This is the definite in terms of leg accessories. All ages (toddler-elder), all sizes (from tights to socks), and you can recolor both to be the same color or separate.

You can also recolor the white part on these kitty tights to your sim's skin

For future reference, you may have more luck searching for "thigh highs" instead of "stockings".
