@IrishA03
Light Graffiti is basically painting with a light using manual settings on your camera this link shows you how to do light graffiti:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Lig...-For-Beginners/
also my teacher said that phone cameras can't do light graffiti, so if you decide to do light graffiti
you will have to use a proper camera

Just to let you know these are the settings i used for my photos:
Shutter Speed- 15 seconds (maximum shutter speed on my camera)
Aperture - 3.2 (lowest Aperture on my camera)
ISO - 100

Yours looks like a pretty decent camera. I had a bridge camera before this one and I was very happy with it. It's in many ways like a DSLR. I'm a big fan of photography so I wanted to be able to play with different lenses and manual focus as well so I got the DSLR, but as I said bridge cameras are very nice

@Vampire_aninyosaloh
my parents got it me before i started learning photography. told them before Christmas that i was gonna choose it as one of my GCSE options so i just started learning photography last month and i love it.
i wish my camera has a longer shutter speed so that i have more time to draw with lights.
also do you know how to take pictures like this:

i have to take pictures like the one above but i don't know what settings i need to use on my camera

For that you need playing with the shutter speed and the aperture, just like in the light graffiti ones. I think an exposure time of 3-5 seconds and an aperture around f/4.5 would work. But you'll see what works best for you. Take a lot of pictures until you get the perfect one. Just keep the balance between the exposure time and the aperture so the picture is not too dark or too light

Also, if you're into light painting you should check Picasso's works. He did a lot of collaborations with Gjon Mili on the subject, and they are just beautiful.
