This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Sims 2 will not start from Sims2EP9.exe(not using launcher)
My game worked fine a few days ago when I last played, but when I tried to fire it up again today I ran into some trouble. I've run the game straight from Sims2EP9.exe for a long time now, but when I ran it today my "wait" cursor spun for a few moments then nothing. No game, no error. I tried several times with the same result. Opening up the task manager shows me that a process for it appears and takes up all the processing power in one of my CPU cores for about 20-30 seconds, then ends. I'm not looking forward to a re-install, so I'm interested in any other suggestions of things to check before I go through that whole process.

Glad it was easily fixed. It's best to delete them after every few times to load the game up.
