This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Which no horse shine default mod must I use?
I stumbled across this by accident today and want to use the default versions, I'm just not sure which ones or one to use. And being defaults I want to be careful.

I've gotten the default (short and long tail fixes) and the foal one from sunnyccfinds.
Then from the modthesims post there is the medium and frosted tail fixes.

I think you need them all. Each tail seems to need its own separate shine fix.
The frosted one is not by EA, btw. It's a custom tail that seems to be shine-free right from the start.
