Ooo...kay?

First of all, make sure the game actually works properly before you start adding custom content (CC). When adding CC, make sure you put the items in the right folder, and that you've downloaded meshes, have the right expansion packs for the items to work, and so on (see here: https://www.modthesims.info/wiki...:Custom_Content, and here: https://www.modthesims.info/wiki...Fracking_Idiots or https://www.modthesims.info/wiki...acking_Geniuses)

Also, the help section is here: https://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=31

It also helps if you say something more about what the problem is, and what you've already tried. "I have a problem with CC content not working" doesn't say much about where the problem actually is (Does nothing at all show up? Only clothes not working? Objects with custom meshes? Recolors? Sims?)

Also, make sure you've enabled custom content in the first place. And, if I recall, you may have to re-enter the game to make sure it "took".

What have you tried so far?

If you're talking about installing custom content by the "downloaded loads of things to help my sims 2" part, I'm a bit surprised that you called it mega boring. The game - even the base game alone - is hours and hours of fun! I think the real issue with the game is the fact that I lose too much of my time playing it once I start!

You probably picked up a piece of bad cc, just find it and remove it. Also did you try deleting the cache files? Sometimes after you put in a bunch of cc those files get corrupted and need deleting. You can have lots off cc and still have a game the runs, you just have to be careful with what you put in and be ready to pull a mod that clashes with another mod. Sometimes it's just load order. It's a computer game not a pizza you add everything to
