This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default How to use templates?
How do I use a template in-game? I downloaded the horse breed templates here http://equus-sims.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=363&t=11480 and don't know how to use them in-game. I have 1.55.

The wording may be a bit confusing, but they're essentially .sim files.

You could install them as Sims3packs with the launcher or you could take the packages files provided in the download and replace ".package" with ".sim" and place those files into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > SavedSims folder.

In game, you'll find them in CAS with other pre-made sims/pets (left-hand corner next to your sim icon).
