Looking for a mini fridge that fits under counters without needing to have university or other expansions.

Edit:
I'm looking for something where I can utilize the counter space above the same way you can with the dishwasher.
I'm not looking for a fridge that looks short.

There are wide variety of mini fridges that do not require an expansion pack.
The only mini fridge I have found that fits under the counter required a uni expansion pack.

I would like to be able to put something useful on top of the fridge like a microwave, in an effort to save space.

There just aren't any other mini fridges to fit in counters. The only other option that I can find is this https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...dge/id/1166992/ Perhaps it can be recolored to match your counters?

To use it with a counter, place the fridge, then turn on moveobjects and place a counter in the same spot as the fridge. Next Ctrl-Shift-click on the counter body and select Delete, and you'll be left with the countertop only

I've been looking for a fully functional mini fridge for ages, particularly the one from Uni Life. Is it possible to make the UL mini fridge functional as a full fridge with the ability to cook full meals from it ?

@Pary Yes..If you change the script, footprints, RSLT and RIG with the ones a normal fridge uses it will function like one..but the animation will look funky since its gonna be the ones from the big fridge (kinda like the animations on this cooler fridge by Sandy : http://aroundthesims3.com/objects/room_outdoor_05.shtml )

Edit 2: redownload changed the animations to the ones mini fridge uses, the RIG from the normal fridge made the mesh distort when sims kick it.

Yes, I know how to VISIBLY move objects inside of the counter but then the fridge is not functional.

The bbq fridge is one of the nicer looking counter height mini fridges but you can not set anything on top of it.
I am downloading the hot dog fridge to give it a try.

Edit: If you were wondering the hot dog fridge is smaller than I microwave, I can set It on top of my counter height mini fridge (kinda defeats the purpose) I can set it on top of counters with move objects, and it does function as a fridge.

While very small in appearance it's not functionally saving me any space.

Sadly, I have the same problems with this fridge as all the others. I can not set anything on top of it unless I use move object to put put it inside a counter and then the fridge does not function.
Also, it does not have any cooking properties.

Sorry but i dont think there is a way you can set a microwave on top of a fridge and still function, at least in my experience..Its the way the fridge footprints operate,you can technically make even the smallest object (e.g: a teddy bear) work like a fridge and sims can use it but the game will always see it as big object and disable the routing for anything else on top of it.Even if you made a dishwasher as you described work like a fridge things above it wouldn't function..
The reason you can use a microwave above a dishwasher is because the dishwasher has an option called ''counter appliance'' if you enable that with the fridge script two things will happen : a)it wont snap inside the counter anymore (even if you use moo on and place it inside a counter it wont work cause of the counter footprints) b)the routing for the objects above it wont work. It would just be a standalone object that functions like a fridge and looks like a dishwasher..
I might be wrong and there is a workaround behind it (testing with other FTTP) but im too lazy to found out.

@sirrena , is it actually possible to make the UL min fridge retain the ability to be placed under counters AND still function as a full fridge, even if you can't use the counter above it? I have a TS2 mod that allows the mini fridge to function as a full fridge while still being placed under a counter - http://modthesims.info/d/96010 ( thats the TS2 mod )
I was trying to save some space in a build the other day, and tried putting your fridge under the counter with MOO but alas it wouldn't work. I didn't think it would, but I guess I irrationally hoped

I can't mod objects, so I'm just curious

Thas such a nice question but sadly i dont have the answer,simply put it i have no idea why the garbage-can,the dishwasher and the mini fridge snap under the counter and function normally while every other object in the game doesn't..

I tried the fridge with other footprints but none of them automatically snapped under the counter so i dont think routing is the issue,again i might be wrong.
Only thing i noticed is that when i changed the script of the fridge to function like trashcan or a dishwasher it auto-regen the slot that allows it to snap to the counter but with any other script it just wont do it. Like this
So its either a script function that only appears on those 3 specific objects or some option to autosnap objects under counter that im not aware off.
I updated the fridge to use the original mini fridge animations so redownload if you wish ,there was no need to change the footprints only the script my bad.
