Default Sloped roof: Three Pagodas (v3) (updated again)
Here's an authentic traditional Pagoda, with gently curving roof. Live the zen life in this residential lot: only one room, only one floor. But there is also a small outhouse (with a sloped pagoda roof of its own) to keep your privates private.

If anyone out there has ideas for other curved-roof buildings, let me know!

Well, you make a grid of walls on the ground level, put floor tiles (Red tile in this case) on top, then set boolprop constrainFloorElevation false, and shape the ground up and down until you have the shape you want. Remove all walls, change the boolprop back, and flatten the ground.

If the cheat box disappears after typing it in then it was accepted
hope that helps

Also make sure you build your roof before changing the ground, the roof will move with it
Good luck

You have to put walls under each tile of roof. When you elevate the ground, it pushes the wall up, and the wall pushes the ceiling tile up with it. No wall, no push.

It means you build a complete GRID of walls, crisscrossing at every spot. In other words, a whole lot of 1x1 tile rooms...

It's a LOT of work. Be warned.

(i think) when you type boolProp, make sure you get the upper & lower case correct or it wont work.I know it sounds obvious but ive made that mistake alot.

It takes just one tree to make a thousand matches, it takes just one match to burn a thousand trees...

Okay I heard some good feedback, so here's episode two:

Pagogoda

I've posted it to the Downloads section, should appear there in a few hours (once the admins approve it)

This two-level was a very interesting challenge. I did succeed in making a two-level sloped roof, but I had to cheat my walls file a little.
The curved footbridge in the backyard is not functional, unfortunately. But it sure looks swell!

Your feedback/comments/ideas welcome. I'm looking for other interesting curved-roof projects to undertake, and would love to work with other talented Simarchitects.
