I read Grim Reaper's mind with my vampire sim. It said: Sam discovered that Grim's job is the grim reaper. Well, Duh?

Female Sims can't wear skirts as outerwear! Well, there is a SINGLE skirt from SN that is valid but no others. I know of plenty of women that wear long skirts during Winter.

You get holiday bonuses on Snowflake Day. That is just so freaking awesome to me especially since they need all the funds they can get.

That UL is acutally FUN....i have found that with the new PC one of the UL bugs does NOT exsist
where sims goes to class...some cant get in...to clogged up by the door....let alone getting to a
lecture at that student union...that was a nightmare....

well not anymore...everything ran very smoothly..i let go on her own...free will on high....
she made it to all classes...the lecture at the student union was FULL...all seats filled...

AND...i also discovered that

when sims raise their hand at the lecture...and its early enough in the lecture professors WILL
answer questions...

And sometimes the microphone the professors use gets" feedback" and you can see then
all the sudden stop and cover their ears...sounds pretty real....

and so does the use of the podium itself....never heard it on my old PC but with this one....
the professors voice acutally sounds like its coming out of a microphone...

VERY NEAT!!!!

Sims will also sometimes get a "splinter" moodlet as a result.

Apparently the game will glitch occasionally and try to assign your kitten to the sim skeleton. It's horrifying.

When in the bathroom answering nature's call SIM Children will shoo their parents & Elders AS IF they are at the same age level. If you did that in real life you'd end up getting it from your parents....

I discovered this before, but... dealing with horses often gives my Sims the shimmy-shivers at unbelievable speeds. Why is that and is there a fix out there?

'Alt' works for shiftable items! Instead of going up and down at set increments, shiftables can be placed at any height. How has it taken me this long to realize this?!

Profile says she's from Canada, but the expression sounds like something you'd hear in Wisconsin from a person of nordic descent.

I discovered that despite owning this game since the year of release I still haven't managed to play a family past the second generation!

The farthest I ever got was to the third generation. And before that, the Matriarch of the first generation had taken a Youth potion before coming close to dying of old age and had more kids. So instead of making a new generation, she expanded one that already existed :P

I got it the day of release too and I've never played past the 1st generation, never had a death from old age or any other than me causing it, never had a pet death and never had an in game born baby age past YA.

I think I have commitment issues and a massive fear of death.

As a person in Wisconsin from nordic descent, lol, no. Doesn't quite have that Scandihoovian ring to it.

ETA Discoveries! I had no idea that you could change doorbells. We're trying 'posh'. Now, just need someone to ring the bell. Also, when my Sim family moved that last time, I put a few things in the back yard so they would get the money for selling the items... and then my klepto Sim could steal them back again (mwaahaha). Well, I just checked over the back fence (they didn't move far), and all those items have rematerialized! All ready to steal again!

You can enable other long skirts for outerwear with CASP Editor Tool (http://www.den.simlogical.com/denfo...pic,1589.0.html) I can't stand the fact that because Season is out late so EA will never enable outerwear for all the sweaters, fur coats that we've compiled patiently awaiting for the winter to come.
Today I downloaded a sim in sims3pack format and found a dresser packed inside it. LOL I have seen many trash clothing and weird accessories in sim download but never expect the whole dresser to come with it.

It seems that in addition to scrapped objects in Generations, i.e. beach towels and beach balls, there are 2 scrapped objects in Showtime according to GameplayData.package: Space Simulator and Spa Table.

I'm not really sure what this Space Simulator would have been, but both these ST objects also have ITUN resources to see what interaction they provide. The Spa Table however, kinds of have similar function to the store massage table. It would have normal and romantic massages. What's more is that it would have even included a masseur NPC. No idea why they were scrapped though. Just take a look at the SpaTable.XML.

</kNPCMassageDurationInMinutes>
<kMassageDurationInMinutes value="5">
<!--Number of Sim minutes the massage loop animations are played for.-->
</kMassageDurationInMinutes>
<kRomanticMassageLTRNeeded value="2">
<!--LTR needed for a Romantic Massage interaction to be offered.-->
</kRomanticMassageLTRNeeded>
</Current_Tuning>

Any idea if this code could be used as the basis for a mod? Perhaps one to add a masseur NPC to the Store spa table, or make an alternate version of it for community lots? I mean, custom NPCs have been done before, what with the gardener mod on here.

I sent my legacy sim Signe around to heckle her young son Eero, and I discovered she could also do this.

Probably old news, but I was more amused than I probably should have been.

Toddlers will play with each other in the playpen from the store. That playpen is amazing.
