This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default English names of original paintings?
Alright so I've got a rather odd question, I've got the german version of the game and since this site is on english, I need to know what the paintings on the picture attached are called in english as I want to upload recolours of them and I've got to let people know which painting it is :3

I apologise in advance for every stupid question I'll ask. Actually sharing my creations instead of just making them for my own game is a whole new area for me ^.^

It looks like I did not look very close at them.

1. Stumped Hound.
2. Space Oddity.
3. Route 66.
4. Spherical Splendor.
5. Kitten Vs. Yarn: Season 1 Print.

Will go look for #2.

#1 is "Stumped Hound" (Pets)
#2 is "Space Oddity" (Uni)
#3 is "Route 66" (NL)
#4 is "Spherical Splendor" (BG)
#5 is "Kitten VS Yarn" (Pets)

(Not sure if they have different names ingame, but that's the SimPE names at least).

Same way you recolour anything else - or do you mean a painting that the sim does on the easel?

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

I mean what is there to recolor?
The frame?
Or the actual colors used in the painting, as in changing the color of the dog in Stumped Hound from brown to white?

Well, you can replace the picture with something else.

I made a list for myself here.
It's not quite up-to-date as I've found more problems with those templates since, but still it has a lot of the paintings with their name and picture.

ScaryRob: you can recolour the frame (if it's recolourable) and recolouring the painting means swapping the current image with another one. The new image can be a modified copy of the dog, but it's still a new image.
There are several tutorials here and you have this one too, among many others!
