Default Working with the nude top for toddlers
I was trying to make tank tops for toddlers using the nude top from the game in TSRW, but the "textures" menu doesn't have the lists with the overlay/mask...patterns etc. It just says "Texture1...Texture2...

How do I get the right menus to import my modified files to?

export those nude top meshes, then start over with diffrent top and import back the nude meshes in the mesh tab

Just tried my creation in game, but the toddlers get reaaally badly deformed. I'm not sure if it has something to do with bone assignments or something. What can I do?

Are you using the latest version of TSRW, and installed the correct plugins that comes with it?
