Hello again. I have a doubts with the layers. I don't know how it will be better - one layer for one type of caw objects (e.g. trees with other plants in one layer, all rocks in other layer, seawalls in thirs layer) or maybe objects from one area in one layer, objects from other area in other layers etc? How will it efficiently?
Its up to you. Its mainly just to make things easier. I generally choose how I'm doing it by how big the world is going to be. If its GIGANTIC, I sort by area, and then I have sub layers for say.. Lots, Objects, Spawners, Trees/Plants.. if its a smaller one, like on a small map, I just sort by those straight away, ditching the main layer part.
The official reply is that layers are just for organisation so you can have as few or many as you like.
The only objects that are impacted upon as far as layers are concerned are trees/plants- those are grouped into single objects by type, chunk and layer, so you should make sure that all trees/ plants of the same type on the same chunk are on the same layer for best performance.
