Default A problem with texture agaaaaaaaaaaain...
Hi Simmers.
I need help again. I've made a new cloak that works as an accessory, however its texture is not showing well in the game.
I don't know what's the problem.
Here it is a screenshot:

Is the sim wearing any other accessories? Accessory textures always look like blurry crap if the sim is wearing two or more accessories, it's a "feature".

No, it's the only accessory she wears.

then check the texture formats from the original accesoire, the ones from your file must be the same.(DXT1nolpha/DXT5interpolatedalpha)

lol, I was cracking my head because of blurry texture in my accessories.
So, there is no way at all to prevent the blurry when using two accessories?

i thought making your mask 2048x2048 would make it less blurry(but still visible)....gives you a much bigger filesize also.....

From what I can tell, the game scales the accessory texture size down - I think that it's layering all the accessory textures for some insane reason, which would probably mean that the "final" texture is the size of the smallest original texture. Since lots of EA accessories have tiny textures, that would lead to lots of blurriness, and it would also explain why accessories with certain types of transparency get bleed from the textures of other equipped accessories.

HQ mod might help?
