Thanks Gyrobot. How would I get into the lot? the so called "secret lots"?
Also, it is not possible to have maximum enthusiasm forever for the hobbies, correct?

When you have high enough enthusiasm for a hobby, a sim will come to your house (they just walk right in) and tell you they want you to join their club. After that, your sim is a member forever. To go to the secret lot, either drive, walk (if you have BV) or call a taxi. When it asks you where you want to go, there's a thing that says Hobbies. Click on it and it shows all the hobby lots you have a membership to.

For your second question, the answer is no. Their enthusiasm will go down over time and everytime it goes down a point, you'll get a pop-up saying it's going down which gets kind of annoying.

I used Johnny & Ophelia Smith (from Strangetown) to try most of the new hobbies out... Strangely they both have enthusiasm in Music & Dance

Not very manly for poor Johnny.

Babbel - can your sims choose the colour of the car when they do it up or is there only one colour/is it random ?

please tell me more details, I can't get FT until I upgrade my PC. I'm really interested in the Car for some reason. more so than the pottery wheel and sewing machine lol..

Haha, looking at the photos,
i see that Sims play the violin rather differently.
The way they hold their bow is... interesting.
If i played like that, the sound would be all shaky and scratchy and my teacher would get all confused.
