This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default My Sims 2 Family won't save.
I downloaded the free version of Sims 2 Ultimate Collection off of Origin with I-LOVE-THE-SIMS code. Now my only problem is, is that my game isn't saving, I load the town back up at the main menu, I go into families, and they simply aren't there. I haven't downloaded any custom content or mods. These are the folders in my Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2.

Cameras
Collections
Config
LockedBins
Logs
LotCatalog
Movies
Music
Neighborhoods
Paintings
PetBreeds
PetCoats
SC4Terrains
Storytelling
Teleport
Thumbnails
Accessory.cache - Cache file
Groups.cache - Cache file

The Teleport Folder is empty, should it be, and also, am I missing anything?
I tried deleting the The Sims 2 folder to see if it regenerates anything so I can save, no luck.

Thank you for the help (if I get any) in advance.

Do other changes stick? Changing the settings? Adding a neighbourhood? Deleting a neighbourhood?

What antivirus are you using? Have you added TS2 to its exceptions list?

If you open the properties of your Documents TS2 folder, is it read-only? If yes, make it not read-only. Are you the owner of the folder? If no, make yourself the owner.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

And yes, Teleport should be empty unless you are actually in the process of adding a lot.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

My other changes do stick, like my resolution stays the same, my graphics settings are the same, it is just that it won't save. Also, am I loading my save right.

Do I go into the same neighbourhood, then families then load my family back up.

Thanks for the reply. :D

I found out that this may be my problem, I don't have a SavedSims folder, is this my issue, if so, should I place one there?
