This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Generations, Pets, Supernatural, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default -600 Sims 3 Can't Be Opened?
I have a MacBook Pro and the Disc authorization failure happens a lot, so I delete the downloads and dccache folders and it helps. Could that have something to do with it? I have uninstalled the game and expansion packs and plan on reinstalling them tomorrow, but I've done this a lot, but with different errors. Can someone please tell me what I can do to prevent this? If I need to delete my CC and mods I could do that. I have a zip file of all my cc and mods, its all compressed so I can save them, anyways. When ever I google this kind of thing (sims 3 launcher won't open -600) it never shows up...

Well, this from Crinrict's help site about the authorization issue with MACs: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2012/0...on-failure.html

Thanks, but I'm mostly asking about the -600 can't be opened thing. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm going to try installing it again. I have a backup electronic arts copy of sims 3 with no mod folder, and i'll see how it goes.
