Default WCIF Sonic stuff
Hey guys, I've been searching for a while, and the only Sims 3 related Sonic items that I could find were by Roge's Heart, and she's shut down her Deviantart and the like.
To be more specific, I'm looking for heads and skins and the stuff, like in this image
There's full sets of the stuff for TS2, but it looks like none of it has been converted to TS3, for whatever reason.
So if anyone has any conversions of the TS2 stuff, by Akima, Ellaine, Roge's Heart, etc, or any of Roge's Sims 3 stuff, I'd really appreciate it!

There really wasn't much I could find although here are a few things I found: http://animefinds.blogspot.com/sear...ideo%20Games%29

And this may help you create a sim similar to what you're looking for: http://ashuriphoenix.tumblr.com/pos...ust-update-this

None of this may be what you were looking for exactly but it was the closest things I could find for the sims 3, sorry, hope this helps at least

Thanks so much!
I've actually already seen most of this stuff, but it's sort of relieving to see a reply, at least!

I've actually found all the Sims 2 Sonic CC stuff like in that picture, but I can't figure out how to convert it to Sims 3.

I'm not sure what the rules on posting links to re-uploads and stuff are, but if anyone would be interested in trying to convert it, I'd be happy to link them!

Here are few tutorials and threads I found that may help you in converting them yourself.

Alrighty! I decided to actually give this a shot instead of just stopping when I got to trying to use Milkshape.

It's looks great in TSRW and all, except I'm having some problems with it ingame.
I used the hockey mask as a base, and as you can see there's no trace of it in the menu, but in Sims 3 proper, it's got a weird texture-overlay looking thing on it, I'm not really sure how to describe it, but you can see the part of the hockey mask that would be bumps or indentations and stuff.
Any idea what to do about this? I've been trying to fix it for a little while now.

Did you edit the bumpmap as well? It's the image that looks like this: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title..._for_TS3_-_Main

I'm having trouble getting a bumpmap plugin to work with GIMP right now, but that's not really a problem I'd be asking for help with here.
I don't see any place to actually put a bumpmap in TSRW, is there some hidden space or something I'm not seeing?

EDIT: Scratch that top bit, found the Bumpmap section in GIMP. But it's not looking like it should in the tutorial when I'm done messing with it, the colors, specifically.

Sadly, I've never worked with GIMP before so I can't help you there. Maybe @Blyss can lend a hand?

As for importing the bumpmap, I recommend importing it over the existing one in S3PE. Right-click on the hockey mask's bumpmap _IMG resource and choose "Replace...", then import your bumpmap in place of it. Does it show up properly now?

I got the bumpmap all ready, I think, but when I opened it up in S3PE, there's no trace of the Hockey Mask bumpmap anywhere

It's not among the _IMG resources?

Edit: did you clone the hockey mask without using S3OC, or without ticking the "Deep Clone" option? It's possible that the XMLs are still referencing the bumpmap of the hockey mask instead of being updated to point to the new one.

I saw my name mentioned, though I must say, I have played very little with normal/bump maps and my knowledge of GIMP is shaky at best.

However, if you're looking for the normal map and you're already working in TSRW, if I do remember correctly, it should be located under the Mesh Tab.
Click on the three dots in Material.
Then Click "Edit" in the Normal Map section. You can import your new normal map.
Not sure if all Normal Maps are linked together across the different LODs/Mesh details, so just check for all of them that you have the right Normal Map.

When you're done, you can actually preview that your Normal/Bump map is correctly set up.
At the top, you see some icons. One of them represent a small greyish circle. If you hover with your mouse, you'll see a tooltip indicating "Show Bumpmap".
If you click on that, you'll see how your Bump map looks on your mesh.

That was it!
I saw that stuff the last time I went to mess with it, but I saw the normalmap and it looked to be just transparent image and I didn't even notice that it wasn't fully transparent, so I just replaced that with my bumpmap and it looks good.

Thanks a ton you guys!
