This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default EPs, SPs Need Updating?
When I had to get a new computer and install my games into it I didn't want to update to 1.69 so I used the super patch to update to 1.67, recently my game had a crash and crash log analyzer reported the error required the updates listed below which says some EPs and SPs need updating but I read somewhere that EPs don't need updating only using the super patch to update the game as a whole. Is that true or not? And does the updates to EPs and SPs listed below update my game to 1.69? And hwere would I even get these updates and how would I apply them?

Nah, you should be good. You said you used the super patcher to get to 1.67 and that's what it looks like it shows in the info you posted. Being patched to that level by the super patcher would automatically include all previous patches. It sounds like you had patched and played with a passage of time and no problems until a recent crash. Is that correct? I have no intention of moving to 1.69 either, now or ever. I appreciate the crash log analyzer, as I do any utility or program for the game, but it seems to arbitrarily want to blame things on patch level when all else fails. I was on 1.55 forever and using appropriate mods for that patch level and had a similar experience with the crash log analyzer. I think my crashes were more due to spending tons of time in edit town or CAS and not saving. After 4-6 hours of that I'd crash. I hadn't added anything new or anything, I was just pushing the limits of EA's craptastic engine and implementation.

Thats what I thought. Yup I used the super patch and had played for a while with no problems and have again today. I didn't spend quite so much time as that in Edit town or CAS (separately anyway) but I had spent a bit of time in each perhaps its a similar issue? I appreciate both your comments and both have given me some insight
