Default Castaway for PC out now! (got some screens to show)
Yay it's out now!

i accidentally found out yesterday when i walkt in to a software store tehe >_>

I must say the beaches and all the surroundings look way better then Bon Voyage, if EAxis made more fucions with it this would make a way better EP, but then again that's just my opinion

Well anyway here some screeny's i made, hope you like. :D

How it starts... (you can choose between 2 sims Jessica Knights and some other guy, the only annoying thing is you have to compleet one sim before you can start on the other one.)

Building up the basics

Yay my first fish! and look at the water awsome reflections right?

Some chapters later you move on better lots to live on

It looks awsome!!! I've been watching the trailer and the other pics on the official page and I can't wait for it to come in stores here. And I think the control thingy is wonderfully cute! Thank you for posting new pics.

Jenny: yup it's all separately but still feels like playing the sims 2, only in a story mode.

The water looks so real that it makes the rest of the game look outdated, lol. This just may be the first Sims Stories that I will get because it at least is different and the whole "Lost" feel is great. I wish they added a "Survivor" style game to it.

Thanks so much for sharing, Babbel! Those graphics do look great! The water is fantastic, but I agree with Frankie. It does kind of make everything else (especially the sim herself) look out-dated.

Wow! I usually don't buy "Stories" but, wow, this looks pretty amazing. Thanks for sharing. I might not get it, but still. Wow.

Edit:
Thats amazing how the put panthers and chimps in this "Story." I just wish they could've put wild animals in BV or something.

I also like the waterfall, and I want my sims to eat Bananas! Too bad we can't incorperate Stories items in the Sims 2. (I mean we can, but it's deemed illegal.)

Also I like what they did with the interface. . . the vines and all.

Oh my gosh, it looks so much better than the PS2 version I've been playing!

I think i read somewhere that in the life stories games the characters can have kids. Can they? And can they have kids in the castaway version.

Wow *_* That looks absolutely awesome, thanks for posting those pics Babbel! :D

Mmm... wish I could get it. I'm in love with the water and the realism of the island. But my computer doesn't meet the system requirements listed on that yahoo site. ): That's odd! Isn't it a laptop friendly version? Shouldn't the requirements be lower than TS2? @_@

Oh well ;__;

I got it too, been playing all day I made my own sim though, you can do that too.
My water doesn't look quite as pretty as Babbel's but to my surprise it's still got beautiful reflections (in TS2 it doesn't) and even ponds look so much more realistic than TS2. I'll post pics soon.

Ah and good news! CC, including default replacements, work like a charm

I wasn't going to get this, having been sorely disappointed by Life Stories and Pet Stories. But the pics look great! I have Sims 2 Castaways for PS2 but don't get to play that much but having this for the PC should do the trick! The console version is quite fun and this looks like it's very similar but you only get one island and one controllable sim.

I'm off to put in the pre-order! Comes out in Aus on the 7th!

My newest downloads are on Simified.
Older downloads and stuff that didn't get transferred to Simified are on my Livejournal.

Just ordered mine. Should be interesting, I've never played any of the other Life Stories.

I would like to clear up the little matter of my sanity as it has come into question. I am not in any way, shape, or form, sane. Insane? Hell yes!

People keep calling me 'evil.' I must be doing something right.
