Hey!
I've just upgraded to Windows 10, and the DownloadOrganiser doesn't work anymore.
It just pops up with a "DownloadOrganiser.exe has stopped working" box.
Thanks for any help.

I can't download this file. I open up the .rar and it says it's empty.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is the link broken?

Thank you. did not know if this would work on sims 2 ultimate and windows 10 but it does just have to run it in windows xp sp3 compatability mode.

I seem to be unable to use this on Windows 10. When I opened the program for the first time here it started up, threw some error which I stupidly didn't copy since I figured that something had simply gotten corrupted when I transferred the files from my old computer to this new one so I simply came here and grabbed new version but then I started getting instant "application has crashed" notifications instead. Tested all compatibility modes as admin and not as admin no change. Then I reread the requirements here and concluded that I need the NET Framework 1.1 which I installed, restarted the computer and hoped it would work but no, now I get error:

"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0x11cc (4556), Thread id=0x170 (368).
Click OK to terminate application.
Click CANCEL to debug application"
On top of that the numbers in that error seem to change every time I try to reload and googling them up brought no results. Hitting cancel only tells me that I don't have JIT debugger. Any ideas how I could force this to work again?

The Organizer does not seem to pull up everything in my downloads folder anymore. It's not pulling up any of my clothing files. Should I re-download it?

You can go to file in the programs and then program locations set all of the stuff packs and expansion under the collection files( copy paste after unchecking the I don't have this its faster) in the ultimate collections folder, it should work fine then.

Thanks! I have an issue though i accidentally set it to scan only in a subfolder in my downloads instead of all of my downloads, and I can't seem to change to path it looks in? I tried re-downloading but it's stuck only looking in this smaller subfolder instead of all of my downloads

As almost all legacy apps, this application fails to start on Windows 10 Creators update x64 . (NullRefrenceException)

How does this program choose which is the "duplicate"? Is there a way both files can be flagged so the user can choose which to potentially delete? I would rather delete newer files that have not been organized vs. older files that have.

do you have something like this for sims 3? This is incredible!

This doesn't seem to work anymore with fully updated Windows 10. Pretty sure it's not only my computer as I downloaded the program to another Win10 computer too and got the exactly same problem with it. It opened once - with both computers - and then next start just leaded to immediate crash, without even proper error message. I'm pretty sure this program writes something somewhere which leads to crash, but I wasn't able to locate anything to fix the problem (I looked at registry, mostly).

Sucks, really, 'cause this is the best method so far to find "orphans".

Still supported? It is NOT scanning my downloads - just comes up with ONE item (of over 4KB in folder). I do run Sim2pacCleanInstaller, so must have NET 1.1, have added location of EPs & SPs.

I have the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and am trying to get DDO up and running, but I'm having trouble figuring out which folders are which when it comes to the stuff packs. Does anyone out there with the UC want to share their folder setup?
