Default I need help with my Kitchen Counter
I created a new mesh for a kitchen counter but I can't recolor it!!!
I have checked several times the package in SimPE and I don't see where I made an error...

Sorry I can't take requests anymore!
And I will probably never convert my creations for TS2 to TS3.

SimPE has problems cloning kitchen counters properly the normal way, and therefore I strongly recommend you use Numenor's counter templates (available at the templates subforum under this forum) as a base for your cloning instead. They have the textures linking properly for recoloring purposes and otherwise .

I used the Numenor's template to create it...

Thanks for having a look to my Kitchen Counter, Ignorant Bliss. Can I send you the package file by e-mail?

You can upload your package in this thread by using manage attachments of your reply thread.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Maylin, here is the package, fixed.

Following my tutorial, you have completely skipped step 6 (replacing "[CustomName]" with your ModelName into each GMND).

Also - but this wasn't explained clearly enough in my tutorial - when you register a new GUID, you should always click "Update MMAT and commit", but never check the option "Update all MMATs". That option should be used only in rare cases, and only if you know what you are doing.
Attached files:
File Type: rar  -Maylin-KCounter060506_fixed.rar (235.3 KB, 11 downloads)

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions.

My latest activity: CEP 9.2.0! - AnyGameStarter 2.1.1 (UPD) - Scriptorium v.2.2f - Photo & Plaques hide with walls - Magazine Rack (UPD) - Animated Windows Hack (UPD) - Custom Instrument Hack (UPD) - Drivable Cars Without Nightlife (UPD) - Courtesy Lights (FIX) - Custom Fence-Arches - Painting-TV - Smarter Lights (UPD)

I *DON'T* accept requests, sorry.
