Default Offline Version
Is there a version that can be installed on a computer that isn't online? When we tried to install the microsoft.net, a message came up saying we had to be online. My daughter would like to install this on her computer, but it doesn't go online. Is there a version that she can use?

The program can be run on an offline computer, yes. The bit about being online might just be for the .NET installer - you don't need to worry about that so long as you have .NET 1.1 installed.

My daughter doesn't have the net on her computer, and we couldn't get it to install without her being online. Is there any way around that? Thanks!

Download the full .NET 1.1 installer (should be 30mb or so), copy it to her machine and install
