Default How to add transparency to My clothing mesh
i was wondering, is it possible to make my mesh a little transparent so that i can see the skin or layers underneath?

I know how to add transparency on the mesh by editing the textures (darker greys for more transparency on alpha channel). But this obviously only looks good for skin-tight clothing.
I want to add transparency to a mesh that is not tight fitted, i want to be able to see the layer beneath, how would i achieve this?

I have created a whole new clothing mesh with all 3 LODS, morphs, i've done the bone assignments, UV map and hand painted textures but i would be greatful if anyone could tell me if making meshes transparent is possible.

Not possible yet unless the mummie uses it but i think that one is only alpha editible(cut away parts off the meshlayer using the texture files)
I did manage it once but i couldn't figure out how to recolor it.
