Default Guid
Hi all...

I'm really not sure if this has been asked before, so here goes.

I'm a novice creator, so please be kind. That said...

Because I've had problems with using windows computers online (don't ask) I download everything via my Mac and use a thumb drive to transfer it to the Dell.

When you make custom objects in SimPE you need to get a custom GUID. I understand this so the object doesn't conflict with other objects and so other people can use it in their game. However, since SimPE is on my Dell and I don't (and won't) let it anywhere near the internet, is there some way to get the GUID with my Mac (perhaps a block so I don't have to keep jumping back to the website everytime I want to make something) so I can manually imput the thing into SimPE on the Dell?

Thanks in advance...

You can get and manage GUIDs manually.
On the main page for the SimPE site
http://sims.ambertation.de/
is a link to the GUID pages (on the top banner). If you got them before, you should already have an account. If not, make one and then get the GUIDs you need by making manual entries.

Then you write down that number and use it in your new object.
