Default How do I make an overlay show in color on Sims' skin?
This may not be the right forum, but I'll start here

I'm having an issue where my dirty, bloody overlay is showing in color only where the clothes are. On the skin, it's black.

I'm sure this is probably easy to solve, but I don't know how to do it.

Can anyone help me get the overlay to show in color on the skin?

A overlay(DXT5interpolatedalpha) has a alpha channel wich you prolly forgot to edit?
Your overlay texture is now using the alpha channel of the multiplier(clothes)
The skintone texture however doesn't have a alphalayer and thats why the blood becomes grey/black

Okay, so what should the Overlay alpha look like in order to cover skin? Will I have to change the multiplier? When I tried that by using the shape of the overlay, everything just went black.

Here is my Overlay and it's alpha:

It should be edited the same way as the clothing area, or i am forgetting something.
