As a player of the Sims since the very first game more than a decade ago, I have always enjoyed the Star Wars content that has graced first the Sims 1 and then Sims 2. With the introduction of the Sims 3, I thought content would once more be released for it, but was surprised to find practically no content concerning Star Wars now 9 months after its release. Belonging a Star Wars roleplaying community that has struggled with multiplayer roleplaying (with games like Star Wars Jedi Academy and Star Wars Galaxies) due to an aging group of members, I decided to take a chance and start work towards filling the hole in the Sims 3 community and gaining new members. For the past month I've come to discover the horrors of meshing and texturing that for years I left up to others, and now I post the first few results of that. I would like to put a major emphasis that all work is considered to be in a beta stage until I have the chance to improve my abilities with milkshape and photoshop or gain other, more adept creators to my team.
