This has probably been asked a million times, but is there a way to get your player characters to show up as service NPCs on other peoples lots?

For example, John, a player character, is in the law enforcement career, so when a robbery happens on Frank's lot, instead of random NPC cop showing up, John shows up acting as NPC?

The only work around I can think is SimPE-ing the generated NPCs to look like and have the same name as the player character. Problem with this is, if the robbery is on John's lot, it'll be a bit weird if NPC cop John shows up! Also I'd have to keep changing it manually every time John or whoever had a significant change in appearance, or aged, or changes jobs.

I'm not holding my breath that this mod exists, because i feel like i would have heard about it, but you never know. I've been away from the game for a while, something like this could have been made since then.
