Sims 4 Stuff, and New Creators (Sims 4 Deluge Edition)
Evening lovelies!I hope those of you who've bought TS4 are enjoying playing it, and those of you who haven't are enjoying the immense satisfaction of that. We have a bunch of TS4-related updates for you today:
Sims 4 Studio
The Simlgical guys have released a new modding tool called Sims 4 Studio, which you can check out here. Make sure you've updated your copy of ColorMagic too, as the latest version includes some important bugfixes!
MTS Stuff
We've now put our first lot of TS4 upload moderation rubrics, and Creator Guidelines, live. We're learning as we go just like you guys, so please forgive any mistakes, and feel free to question or bend anything that doesn't seem to make sense. If you're uploading a groundbreaker, don't worry about the lack of rules - just make sure you're giving all the textual and pictoral info you reasonably can, and we'll be very happy to host your lovely stuff .
With the recent release of TS4, many simmers have changed their focus and game interests. They now have three games to choose from to play, create and share. MTS does not accept requests, however we do have an area for creators to post that they accept requests. Please be sure to read the main posts' instructions carefully.
New Creators
And last but not least, the release of TS4 has absolutely flooded us with wonderful new content. If you've got something sitting in the queue, please be patient - we're whaling through it as fast as we can! For now, bask in the reflected glory of a frankly ridonkulous number of first-time modders.
Happy simming!
What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Wow! I can't believe that everyone's done so much with Sims 4 only two weeks after release. By December, there's going to be mods that turn the base game into some kind of missle command system.

Welcome new creators!
Want a specific style of house or community building? Why not take a look at my profile and see what I build and then come ask me to make it!

I've sent a recolor last thursday and I was about to make a thread asking what's happening but...wow...it was a surprise... didn't know that the site was flowing with new creations and creators. Just checked the main download page of sims 4 and have new downloads everyday.
It's also nice to see me on the new creator's list

Welcome one! Welcome all! A special welcome to those of you who, like me, had spent a long time lurking the site, and finally took the plunge into creator-hood! And an extra-special welcome to those of you who are TS2 creators like me!
(I'm totally biased- deal with it! TS2 creators rock!)

I suspect there were a lot of us who "cut our teeth" so to speak on creating in TS2, especially recolors. We were clean out of a job when TS3 came along with its Create-A-Style.
Who knows, I might even rouse myself into action again after lo these many years, now that TS4 seems to work well with recolor work.

A model import/export tool for TS4? That's fast, though I'm sure there are still some stuff left to be documented besides the ones Maxis left for us to mess with.
I know I don't really feel like playing TS4 due to how it felt more like a dud to me, but I wonder how complex the mesh/model formats are compared to previous games. Are all models rigged to a skeleton, or does the game use pivots/dummies to denote parts on objects instead?

Hey. I would like to be a creator, I'v made a few recolours for The Sims 3 (although I have not uploaded them here). I just made my first recolor yesterday for The Sims 4 and have spent most of today trying to find out how to upload it on here. I'v read a lot on the rules and stuff but can not seam to find the Upload Wizard. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction (maybe save me some time)?

Don't feel silly. You don't want to know how long it took me to find the Sims 3 Downloads. I had my filters set to show Compatible, and didn't have my new Sims 3 game listed in my profile yet, so they really were hiding from me. And I had forgotten how to change my profile, although I knew it had to be here -somewhere- .
I am Ghost. My husband is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.

How do we become a new creator here?
Hi! I have traditionally only created content for The Sims Resource (Sims 2 & Sims 4) but recently they have decided that we can only display our creations in more and more limited ways and continue to try to limit creativity...it's becoming very bland and boring so I am looking for a new place to offer my creations. How do I go about becoming a MTS creator? -Tori
