This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Seasons, University Life
Default Travelling to Countries (WA) and University (UL) takes over an hour
I own all expansions up to University Life (excluding Supernatural) and stuff packs up to Town life stuff.
I dont have many mods, only about 45mb worth
I have a folder of store content worth 5.78GB
My laptop has more than sufficient specs to run the game (8GB RAM, i7 core, 2.6GHz, Intel HD 530, 2TB Hard Drive...)

Now my issue, the game itself runs fine. Loading into worlds and saves is a bit slow and clicking on people to load up all the interaction options taks a few seconds but I'm fine with all that. It doesn't bother me.
What does bother me is that when trying to travel to anothr country like China or going to university, travelling has taken over an hour to the point where I have just given up to see if it loads up at all! So basically why. If anyone has any solutions. Thanks
