Default Laptop for sims 3
Looking for a laptop to play Sims 3 and all EP's on. Not necessarily on the highest settings, but fairly close, and I download a decent amount of CC too. Less than $1000AUD. Would prefer the cheapest possible option.
Would prefer to be shipped from a site within Australia. Must be a laptop, I'm aware they run better on a desktop but it's necessary for me. No other games, just daily internet tasks etc. thanks

Can anyone tell me if this is appropriate? It has an i5 processor, 4GB of ram, an AMD Radeon HD 8670M 1GB graphics card, and a 500GB HD, which according to this thread: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/635124.page seems all a-ok if I want to play on medium-high settings.

The laptop in your link does not have an i5.

Also, 4GB is not a lot of RAM for gaming, and if you're buying new I would suggest you get 8GB.

That one is better. The GPU is on the weak side though.

Thanks so much for the quick responses, you sure know your stuff. Thanks for looking over them for me. One last question, what's the second best out of those? Just for a backup

None of the others are worth buying. If you can't get the Dell, keep looking elsewhere.
