Multitasking/socializing
Hello my fellow simmers
I know multitasking is one big feature of Sims4, but it also exists to some extent in Sims3. Commonly, sims will socialise while doing other stuff, such as watching TV (and possibly raising a skill, too), eating or doing homework. There are chess tables and the like, as well as sports activities you can do together, of course. I've also run into more obscure openings such as the mother watching TV while her toddler was on the block table, and they were chatting to each other at the same time. (Meanwhile, sims seated around a firepit do not strike up conversations autonomously, do they?)
When I last booted up the game, the older teen was cooking while the little girl was getting a meal from the fridge. Instead of walking to the adjacent dining room, the girl chose to eat standing next to the stove and chat to the teen. I had never seen this before... Which left me wondering, are there any other less obvious situations that could help with socialising while doing more...productive things? Anything you have witnessed in-game?
